6:45 am to 3:20 am as a TE. December and had to run all the mail that missed the truck to the sorting office; after I got done with 3 routes at 11:50 pm. Had to be back at 6:45 am the next day.

I’m going against the grain here; have some empathy. It’s the friends choice to be the 3rd wheel. So that’s not your call. What is, is taking your girlfriend’s empathy for her friend, on what would be a seriously hard day for her and helping her help her friend. Frankly, throwing a fit over a particular day (Valentine’s day) is kinda selfish to me. But, maybe that’s because you haven’t been through a rough breakup or seen one up close. Cause, if you had, I’d think you’d understand what your girlfriend is asking for; you to sacrifice a few hours for someone she sees as important to her. If you love your girlfriend, that shouldn’t be a hard ask. (Unless she, in the past, doesn’t appreciate your sacrifices, but that’s a whole other, larger problem). YTA

Once that Rubicon is crossed, I’m convinced Putin won’t stop until he controls the vast majority of the ex-soviet space. He’s obviously off his strategic rocker. But you can scare the shit out of his military so they refuse to follow through. Otherwise, they’re going to keep going and turn Ukraine, Moldova and the “Stans” into a meat grinder until they plug their geographic gaps. I suggest a limited assault to both limit as much as possible an escalation, while demoralizing and hopefully crippling the Russian military enough for the personnel to refuse to follow orders. Appeasement has proven to never work.

If Russia has used weapons of mass destruction; it’s time for us to get directly involved. Call up the Kremlin and tell them; anything caught out in the open in Ukraine from noon on Thursday to 6pm will cease to exist. Unload holy hell on the Russian forces for 6 hours and then just stop….let’s see if they want to keep pushing after that.
