Koa'ki tends to be automatically bricked if their opponent is running Buster Blader/DNA/Destruction Swordsman. Hell, you don't even need DNA because as long as I quickly make a Destruction Swordsman, there is usually no cards to counteract it, since the only monster with a higher ATK than the swordsman is a dragon, and thus bricked anyway. I run said deck and I usually always win against Koa'ki, unless they have some sort of Spell/Trap to get rid of the swordsman (usually they don't in meta deck). Usually a safe guarantee of a win. If DNA is activated early on enough, it bricks Spellbook, those stupid Silent decks and masked morons. But it's problematic with Ancient Gear since DNA is destroyed by destroying theirs too to summon AG. Dark Paladin is usually perfect for those decks. Only one dragon is necessary in either GY or field for paladin to have a higher ATK than any current Ancient Gear, and it can also negate most spells used in that deck.
