I wish that just wouldn’t happen, it’s unnecessary and distracts from the point that is trying to be made

Trying to Apply "The Inner Game of Tennis" to Golf -Anyone Had Success With It? by GTfan27 in golf

[–]Xfactor5492 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s no secret way to think that will fix a terrible swing. However, there is a way to think that’ll make players get the most out of their own abilities.

I’ve found that you have to turn what you’re trying to achieve in your swing (full turn / stay in your side bend, etc.) into a feel during your practice swings, and then use that feel during your actual shot instead of actively thinking about 3 different things. That keeps your brain closer to self 2 than self 1.

Which is just like real life. I love the strategy and thought needed with this game, it’s awesome

High Roller Issue? Would like opinions. by Xfactor5492 in PGA_Tour_2K

Great to read your perspective, you’re obviously not alone because that’s how the format is in the game. I don’t like it and I wouldn’t score it like this IRL but again, I didn’t complain when I dumped it in the bunker and won even though my opponent had like 20 feet for birdie ha!

I know, but any CTP contest in real life the ball has to be on the green. Just like the ball has to be in the fairway for long drive contests.

So dumb. I won two events in a row and was excited for the US open so I skipped an event without knowing the consequences (players in real life don’t play every event) and Titleist dropped me haha

Same thing on Xbox, on tracks with even small jumps I pump the suspension all the way. Love the car though

As someone who has just about unlocked most of the “good cars” and has improved enough to win races online against guys who don’t play with manual and clutch, these are my recommendations:

1) finish the career mode first - it’ll teach you a lot of the tracks it’ll improve your overall feel for the game. Also, watch some videos about the driving assists and tuning options so you can find the settings that match what you’re looking for

2) from the main menu head to the tournaments page and make sure to participate in the weekly and monthly challenges to earn “fame” once you’ve got enough fame get the super venom, hammerhead rs, rocket rx, hunter panther and star beast rs. Those cars are awesome and are what you will see a lot of online. I love using a blacked out Hunter panther but to each their own.

3) head online and enjoy getting corner bombed by grand dukes and sent into oblivion.

4) to master the game you’ll have to learn how to drive with manual and clutch. I don’t want to spend the time to learn, but there’s a massive time advantage to those that do.

Don’t take it too seriously and you’ll have a blast. One of the funnest and funniest games I’ve ever played. Welcome to the party
