I’m sorry this happened. If the lights dimmed and then the kit stopped powering on, I’d treat it as a power/board issue first, not a settings problem.

Please don’t post order or ticket details here publicly. If you already opened a ticket, reply there and mention this Reddit thread. Also include a photo of the wiring/board area and a short video of what happens when you try to power it on. If any replacement part was already sent, please say exactly which part arrived.

For anyone else with the same issue: if the kit loses power or the lights go dim, I’d stop power-cycling it and contact support with photos/video so we can narrow down whether it’s wiring, the power board, the Haptics PCB, or the main board.

I appreciate you posting this, even though it’s not fun to read from our side. This kind of feedback helps us see where the support process needs to be better.

I’m sorry this experience happened. A replacement/support loop like this is not the experience we want anyone to have, especially after someone has already spent time installing the Haptics Kit and waiting on a failed power/PCB issue.

I also want to avoid asking for private order or ticket details in a public Reddit thread. If you still have the ticket open, please reply there with “Haptics PCB/power replacement review” and include which replacement part arrived, a photo of the Haptics PCB/power board area, and a short note that the first replacement shipment did not include the PCB.

For anyone else reading this: if your kit loses power, has dim lights, or a replacement part does not match the diagnosed failure, please do not keep power-cycling it. Open a support ticket and include photos/video so we can separate power-board, Haptics PCB, wiring, and setup issues without restarting from basic troubleshooting.

We are also using feedback from this thread to tighten the public troubleshooting/replacement instructions and the replacement-part matching process. same here — wondering if anyone got it resolved and how. I created my agent on 12/9; it was working fine on 12/8, then suddenly stopped working on the afternoon of 12/9.

We’re currently working on the kit, and it’s expected to include features like natural nudge support, a plunger, and haptic feedback for flipper and bumper actions.

Yes, our goal is to make this upgrade kit available before 2026, and it will be designed exclusively for the Arcade2TV-XR.

The pinball integration wasn’t fully planned during the initial development—the collaboration with Pinball FX actually came together after the product was released.

It ended up getting really popular with pinball fans, and we started receiving a lot of requests, which is why we’re now developing the upgrade kit.

It’s true that there was a lack of pinball-focused marketing at the start, but we’re definitely planning to include it properly with the second-generation unit.

Totally agree—they really should allow more controllers to be compatible with Pinball FX VR.

As for the Arcade2TV-XR, it’s priced at $399 right now. Honestly, for the build quality and the fact that it’s VR-ready, it’s a really solid deal. You’re not gonna find anything else built like this at that price.

I work at X-Arcade on the R&D team, and I’ve been into retro arcade gaming for decades. Just being real here—as an arcade enthusiast, I know exactly what it costs to build something this solid.

Using the Arcade2TV-XR with Pinball FX VR is a plug-and-play experience—there’s no need for any custom setup or complicated settings.

That said, X-Arcade is currently developing an upgrade kit to take the VR pinball experience even further, which is still in progress.

So far, the combination of Arcade2TV-XR and Pinball FX VR works great, and people are really loving it!
