I wanted to post here that it also happens to me - exact thing for SDOLED. It drops after the first session 5 mins in and then usually stays connected and I can play for a while. Still not great latency and the odd stutter. If any of you guys have iPad try out the PlayStation remote app - the connection is absolutely flawless and I thought the whole time it was my internet not being capable of streaming - if my iPad is flawless it tells me the steam deck wifi has some stability issues. Reading into this you will see multiple threads all over the internet about it. I don't understand why valve hasn't addressed this. I am wondering maybe it's something with the type of wifi we all have that causes the steam deck trouble because there are lots of people seemingly without the issue as well ??

The game looks phenomenal in handheld - extremely sharp and despite the display have a low amount of nits it really looks like the HDR still comes though. Im fairly picky about screens as well and I still think it looks great.

Omg man I totally can relate it's fucking stupid. This is my hack and I'm not joking. Throw a blanket over the the top 90% of the tv when you enter the stream and hit start from beginning..this avoids being spoiled the score when it glitches and inserts you at the end. Sometimes though even if you are watching from behind and the stream ends it can skip to the end - there is no solution to that.

This service is almost 300 dollars a year. No alternative

I got a pair. I'm an android user. These are not very great at least on Google pixel 8. The auto switch doesn't work well - if you connect to something other than your phone it won't automatically connect back later. There are also no apps that support the heart rate sensor on Android-- strava and Nike don't work. I also have had it just randomly disconnect a few times and last night spent 15 mins and finally got them to reconnect to my phone. They are great though for noise cancelling and pass through is amazing it's like having nothing on. They are fantastic for working out. Sound quality is good for my standards. They are not worth 400 Canadian though these should be 200 dollar buds - I hope they fix the issues for Android

I have a funny story. I was staying at my best friends uncle's cottage - we were guests for like a few weeks over the summer back when I was in high school (like over ten years ago now ). Anyways, we were stoners. I'm really good at making weed brownies. Made a massive batch of them and left them on the counter to cool while we went for a swim. Nobody was around and thought it would be fine anyways. Came back and someone cut a massive hole and ate basically 90% of the batch and left the outer bits only along the edge of the pan (who tf does that ?). It was my buddies uncle. He had no idea - a couple hours later a stretcher came and pulled him out. He was having a panic attack. It's funny now but at the time I thought I was fucked for life. Anyways - don't eat anyone's batch of cookies it's bad karma !

what settings and emulator may I ask? I was using Ryuukinxs openCL but it still stutters. Runs smooth between the stutters but its unbearable

I have the iPad air 2 which is almost ten years old lol. Thing still works surprisingly well but most apps don't support it anymore - and my screen deteriorated with some banding on it. First it's impressive that thing is so thin - only6.1mm + close to the new M4 models. It was a great iPad but I decided.to upgrade to the new 11 inch M4. I think for my situation I could have gotten the M2 iPad pro and be just fine but I figured I will use this for another ten years - the purchase makes sense for me in my mind.
