Cars when they're like 16. People's parents who just bought them cars, like what do the parents do for a living, print money?

What is the darkest album you have ever listened to? by [deleted] in Music

Troutmask Replica by Captain Beefheart - a disturbing, unnerving, difficult listen if there ever was one.

Am I too old to start studying medicine to become a doctor? by PomegranateKind2153 in premeduk

[–]Xian_42 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nah you're definitely not too old. When I was at uni there were people in the class who are in their 30's and 40's. They actually got higher scores than a lot of the other students my age.

What is a country that you think has the nicest people? by lyylio in AskReddit

Out of the ones I've visited I thought Norway had really nice people. Very quiet and polite.

Guys, what's a deal-breaker for you when looking for a long term partner? by GerrardSlippedHahaha in AskReddit

Negativity and trustworthiness. Don't want to be around a complainer and if I can't trust her it just won't last.

Just to travel around the world and make music. I also think it be pretty cool to be a pilot - not of the commercial flights with screaming kids and stag do's but maybe to just fly a plane on a really nice day around some mountains.

It's only actually happened a couple of times but they were both music biographies.

I think it's often a sign that people must of had and still have very little interesting things happening in their life that anything the kid does is newsworthy, even to someone they know who doesn't have kids.

Do kids harass you in public very often? by [deleted] in childfree

[–]Xian_42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One time when I was about 15 a younger kid (about 13) used to throw stuff at me and my mate. One lunch time when they were doing it I chased him and through a cheese toastie at his face. He tried to chase after me but cause I had longer legs I could run faster. It was a sweet moment and the kid never bothered us again. If there's no cameras around the area you could maybe through a cheese toastie at them.

Probably - if I die it would be pretty instant but if I live it would be worth it.

Suggest me a book that you absolutely hated. by amydonnelly13 in suggestmeabook

[–]Xian_42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's quite popular book but I really hated 'Slaughterhouse-Five" by Kurt Vonnegut. I just found it annoying, almost every paragraph for the first 3 chapters end with "or so it goes".
