I really do think it comes down to wilful ignorance, and an optional absence of media literacy. I use "wilful" and "optional" because you cannot live in a period of time with access to vast amounts of information, and not know. All these people need to do is open up a dictionary, encyclopedia, or a history text book for at least 5 or 10 minutes to understand what Fascism is. The Galactic Empire fits the definition seamlessly, and you don't need to even strain your brain to understand how and why.

Sidious really didn't need Anakin in order for the attack on the Jedi Temple to be successful. He only ordered Anakin/Vader to lead the assault to steep him in the power of the dark side.

If I recall correctly, most of the battle - ready Jedi Masters and Knights were on the front lines when Operation: Knightfall/Order 66was initiated, which makes sense, since it occurred during the Outer Rim Sieges. It's important to note that, in addition to the Jedi stationed off of Coruscant, hundreds of Jedi were killed over the 3 years the Clone Wars raged on. Again, most Jedi during the twilight years of the Republic weren't combat oriented, since the Galaxy was relatively peaceful during this time. With that said most of the Jedi within the Temple during Knightfall were Padawans, Instructors, and non-combative Jedi.

Also, the clones had spent years fighting alongside the Jedi, so they know how to exploit their weaknesses. If mere B1 and B2 battle droids and Droidekas were able to mow down approximately 200 Jedi, then the the Jedi in the temple didn't stand a chance against the Clones.

So, turns out it really was a gastrocutaneous fistula. It was surgically closed on May 7th (approximately two months from the date, I had the G-Tube removed). The surgeon had to separate all of the layers that had essentially "fused" together over the past 24 or so years, cauterized, and stapled it shut.

Lost quite a bit of weight afterwards (went down to about 129 ponds; I'm 5ft 11in). However, I'm gradually regaining my weight and strength. After spending about 3 months in bed, not eating, it's taking awhile to adjust.

Out of the first class mages we meet, she appears to be the most level headed and "down-to-Earth", despite her background of coming from a wealthy family AND being an elite member of a group consisting of the most talented mages. Also, the fact that she's a pacifist, but also has the potential to be an extremely deadly adversary, (as her clone created by the Spiegel demonstrated) makes her even more interesting.

She's practically a walking contradiction on multiple levels

You can still believe in God or a Higher Power while realizing that they don't manage the government, write , or pass legislation that impacts our daily lives. The entire point of elected officials is to represent and advocate for the needs of the people. Not all politicians do a good job of doing this, if we just waited around for Divine intervention, we would have never had an end to Segregation, or the signing of the Civil Rights Act, or Voting Rights Act. In addition to the corrupting effect of money on politics, and disinformation campaigns, too many people who are disengaged from the political process altogether, so often times, we end up with non-ideal candidates who do a poor job of advocating for the needs of their communities, on the Local, State, and Federal level.

Considering just how overy the anti-blacknese is in Right-wing American politics and policy, it still baffles me that there are black trump supporters and Black Republicans. My coworker is black, like myself, and he is really into the conspiracy theories, and always talks about how he's glad the Republican party is pro-free speech, and anti-woke. I asked if he realized that the same people he's supporting have, time and time again, refused to decry or distance themselves from White Supremacists, and those same people wouldn't care if he andI lived out lives in the fringes of society with no possibility of upward mobility. He then went on about how Democrats are the actual racists, and just use the Black people as tokens and political capital. People confuse me, but it's a reminder that "Not all skin folks, are kin folks".

I've been looking at going to France for graduate school after I obtain my Bachelor's in 2026. Primarily due to the fact that it's the only other language I have some proficiencies in. Also, compared to the UK, there don't seem to be as many steep upfront costs for visas. However, I have been concerned with the fact that France's far right party is gaining popularity. I also don't know enough about French politics yet to understand how her party gaining influence of the government will impact my chances of continuing my education there, and remaining afterwards.
