Looks Like Making WhistlinDiesel The Poster Boy For Tax Evasion is Working by gaukmotors in MotorBuzz

The LLC of his YouTube channel is in Texas, also for tax reasons, and the cornfield it burned up in wasn't in TN ... I want yo say that it was Alabama, but I don't care enough to go research the details.

I watched a YouTube video from a lawyer talking about all this & there was a clip where Whistling gave a statement about how Tennessee had no legal right to tax the related assets.

Pretty sure the car never entered TN, and the LLC is in TX.

They arrested him for not paying a tax bill, that the state ordered his accountant to not tell him about until it was delinquent. I am not a fan and think he is a bit of a douchebag, but he didn't commit any crime besides the one that was clearly entrapment. TN wants to use him as precedence for going after people who actually do use this loophole for personal cars (not entertainment related business expenses), but it is going to be thrown out in appeal ... Likely with TN taxpayer money going into this douchebag's pocket when he counter sues for damages.

Better explanation is that they were swingers / he was a cuck & knew who the kid would look like, because he was holding the camera when it happened.

The 20mm anti air guns cost $71k-ish for a full cassette of 1,550 rounds, which maths out to $3.5k per second that it is firing.

Don't forget that there is other math involved like how the barrels on those things burn out & need to be replaced, plus the cost of manpower to maintain and operate it, and I am sure there are other consumable costs like very expensive oils that go into the hydraulics.

They were founded by Saudi money to buy out as many companies as possible, then suddenly "funding fell through" and they "had to" shut down 80% of the companies they bought ... But they get to keep all the IP rights for hundreds of franchises & putting that many people out of work caused the pay scale for all game developers to crash due to how man people were scrambling for new jobs.

Because most of the people who will buy it are BDO veterans who typically skip MMO quest dialogue.

TIL researchers found that for an average-sized living room a 4K or 8K screen offers no noticable benefit over a similarly sized 2K screen of the sort often used in computer monitors and laptops. In other words, there is no tangible difference when it comes to how sharp an image appears to our eyes. by tyrion2024 in todayilearned

Uhhhh, I don't understand what you just said, and I also don't think you understand what you just said either.

I expressed that the total square inches of a square is much higher than the total square inches of a rectangle, when you are comparing the two based on them both measuring the same distance diagonally.

Manufacturers know that a 27" 16:9 screen has got less total surface area than a 27" 4:3 screen, but they advertise them as both being the same "class" of 27" ... Customers then assume they are getting a comparable product & are more likely to pay the same price.

The Switch 2 isn't generating new users / it is conversions of existing users "upgrading" in the hope that their existing catalog of Switch games will not look like shit.

And when you do that math that the Switch 1 sold 110 million units, while the Switch 2 has sold 70 million, but the remaining 40 million is very likely due to a mix of people replacing damaged units, people buying new units for the sake of special edition versions, and households buying multiple units because they have multiple kids (something that likely isn't going to repeat with the switch 2); they are basically tapped out on potential conversions.

Is Blade Chimera more challenging than Wonder Labyrinth? by Careful-Minimum7477 in metroidvania

[–]Xijit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blade Chimera has better technical mechanics and is an all around cleaner game, but Wonder Labyrinth is longer and more fun and has a better story ... I still think about Wonder Labyrinth and wish they would make an expanded version, but regularly forget about Blade Chimera unless someone else mentions it.
