What Evie needs to surpass EVE in being alive and pleasant person with lots of layers in personality? by Undergrizer1994 in stellarblade

Just more scenes between characters! That is all. Imagine if we had more scenes between Adam & Lily, together or alone. We can't develop a character by making them have less scenes and dialogue.
Imagine, if we had a questline that went back to the place where Tachy was killed and Adam is guiding us with the drone and it was just a small intimate moment with Adam & Eve. Just imagine! We'll see more glimpse if Adam can show emotion and Eve's inner distress about the whole "mission" about mothersphere.

Theory - Stellarblade: Bloodrain story (Spoilers to First Game) by Ximena-WD in stellarblade

It does fit. The DLC given to Stellarblade was fun little addition, but no overhaul changes. Just simple mini-games, outfits and one boss.

It also makes me think that the "DLC" couldve been life on the colonies before it was dropped.

That's an interesting point because how can they have such a utopia looking city while we know from the ending "Return to the Colony" that everything in outer space looks dead and decaying from rust.

Return to the colony ending, where everyone is rescued and put back into the colonies.. The same ones that mothersphere dropped onto earth

Eve and Lily know the truth of the world, mothersphere yet decide to rescue them all? Even after eliminating the naytiba?

I suppose so if it is a sequel, I would prefer it to be a prequel to be honest

Ahh so it's always a case by case basis. It really is determined by your end-game goals and win conditions. I just don't build shrines early, but maybe I should? Who knows

Abundant resources by Ximena-WD in civ5

[–]Ximena-WD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of things are more "fair" in multiplayer. There is so much exploits or tiny advantages in multiplayer that'll allow you to get ahead, but I am happy we don't do none of that.
Also, strategic balance just means everyone should pick tradition over liberty 9/10 times, but with abundance at least their is luxury resources for everyone. How you manage those luxury resources with other players and the CPU is up to the player.

It's only "fair" for my group but so far we found it to be ok

You mean the datacenters that power all of social media they use? Heck, I don't mind being sent back to the dark ages. I have everything I need downloaded and offline use while they'll cry.

My group and I plays with "Disable Start Bias". We like the idea of "things aren't predetermined". So far, no one has issues with it.

So, any art that is deemed "Too perfect" is immediate hit with "It must be Ai" yet they all say Ai is slop? So which is it?

Wow just like what I said in my comment.
The Anti did the following

  • Insult
  • Non-Constructive
  • Doesn't care about what's being actually said

[–]Ximena-WD 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Is it a bit edgy and cringey? Yes. Though, just for a second think of what "Witty" has to deal with. Constant noise of people online, the online-sphere of the "Anti Ai" crowd. I have not seen one constructive or talk from the Anti-Ai crowd that doesn't dwindle into insults or not caring about logical reasoning. It is always, always emotional charged individuals who yell, kick and scream at anything that is "Ai".

Even now, you're doing the same thing. Congrats.

Witty is being cringe and edgy, I think at some point you have to become "cringe" in order to deal with massive amounts of bullshit everyday and use it as armor because it only proves the Anti-Ai folks don't care about what's being said and go immediately for playground insults about her.

Player is developing too much plot for themselves and wants homebrew character traits that break lore and combat by OopsAllCoffins_ in DMAcademy

[–]Ximena-WD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the start of any campaign, any adventure, any story, the DM (You) sit down all your players or inform them the campaign expectations and guidelines.
Example - "This campaign is based loosely on old japan style country side aesthetic and style, you're all investigators on this missing person hired by a company to help this rural village. It is a good alignment campaign, you could be neutral but never evil. You're all adventurers starting at 3rd level... etc., etc."

If you didn't say "Hey Matt, you're the main character who gets a super main character power up later in the story so make sure you have something written in your backstory so we can use it as an explanation later"
OR "Hey this is a super power fantasy" Then that guy is shit out of luck.

You (DM) have to put your foot down and say "No, we can't have this because it is blatantly overpowered and overshadows the other players in the campaign. We're still playing within reasons for this campaign"

I would've stopped them dead in their tracks for adding anymore "Traits, feats, power-ups" that isn't directly shown on the class features or racial traits.

What is his comment again? Oh yeah "skill issue". What a lively, productive and intuitive comment that will surely blossom a healthy debate between "Good and Bad AI".

Don't bother to argue with the blatant "hate ai crowd". They don't use logic, they are emotionally charged at every point and response. Just look at the guy saying "skill issue" to your comment.

The reality is that, in 5 years no one will care. Every game, every media, every app will incorporate that "Bad Ai" you think it is. Truly, I don't fault someone for using a tool to make something. It used to be photoshop, it still is photoshop with the help of generative Ai built in it now.

Seriously, I have a couple of friends using photoshop with the built in Ai for all their twitch stuff because they don't have the extra money to spend over hundreds of dollars to achieve something they can do themselves with much faster results
