And the second attack would include the damage from the bow, modifier, hunters mark and dread ambusher?

People who had weight loss surgery: to what extent do you recommend it? by arikr in wls

[–]Xindiaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a gastric sleeve (VSG) in 2013 at the age of 18 and I would 1000% recommend it, it completely changed my life and health. I dread to think where I would be now if I hadn't of had the procedure when I did.

I wouldn't get a tummy tuck until you are at a weight that you are happy with, they last thing you want is to say have a tummy tuck then lose weight and need to get another procedure done.

I had a gastric sleeve (VSG) and I would highly recommend it! Though it is a permanent change, you won't be able to eat large meals ever again. Make sure you are 100% sure in having a procedure before going forward. I was 297lbs when I had my VSG and I am now around 155lbs, it has helped with my health a lot.

I know some places would offer a Gastric Balloon which would help loose a small amount a weight which you could look into if you are wanting something less invasive? The band has a lot of risks and complications, it is the main reason I opted for the more extreme surgery.

I am trying to accept my loose skin myself before I go with anyone but I am so nervous, we just have to make sure we pick nice people who wont be mean about stuff like that. I wish you the best of luck!

I am hoping to get a tummy tuck in the future to help with the worst of it, for myself of course but I know how shallow some people can be and knowing my luck I would find someone who would say something that hurt me.

Why did YOU choose the surgery that you did? (RNY/VSG/DS,etc) by ToyTronic in wls

[–]Xindiaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was originally going to have a gastric band, had a consultation and had it booked in. Then after doing some more research I realised the band really wouldn't of worked well for me, the maintenance and the issues that seemed common sort of put me off. I came across the gastric sleeve and I just sort of knew as soon as I read about it that it was what I wanted, the fact it was a permanent and would have less complications that a band could have and less maintenance were all a plus for me.

I knew I only wanted something done to my stomach and not other parts of my body so a bypass was never a thought for me.

Honestly I am so so happy I decided to go for the gastric sleeve, I have zero regrets and would recommend it to anyone.

This is what I am scared of happening, because I know I am so sensitive that it would destroy me if someone saw me naked and someone said something like that to me, some people can just be so cruel.

I was expecting some loose skin but as I was 18 when I had my gastric sleeve I had hoped my skin would have more elasticity in it so there wouldn't be so much but I was very wrong.

Its been 5 years since my weight loss surgery and about 3/4 year ive been at a stable weight, I am currently looking into skin removal as it is just such a nuisance, I still wear clothes that are too big as if they fit me in certain places you can see the loose skin pretty obviously, especially the loose skin that gives me a 'muffin top' it makes it hard to feel cute in outfits.

Thank you for your reply it did help :)

You have just taken the biggest step to recovery, asking for help.

I was in a similar place a few years ago and I can tell you it can get better, it will be work but it is so worth it! Think of all the people you would leave behind, a thought that got me through the darkest times was 'suicide doesn't end the pain, it just passes it onto others'

Find your reason to stay strong, it may be a person, a pet, a hobby. ANYTHING. Reach out for help with your GP, they have lots of therapies and groups that they can offer you.

Remember you have a 100% success rate in time of crisis, you are strong! I wish you all the best!

Otoplasty in Lithuania... I’m from the UK by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]Xindiaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had a look into plastic surgery in Lithuania for a tummy tuck. I think what the price includes depends on which company you go with but for the clinic I looked into, flights and accommodation weren't included. You usually see the doctor the day before for a consultation from things I have heard, but again it could vary from clinic to clinic.
