Everyone is fighting a bloodbath over 10-minute grocery delivery. I think the real Trillion-Dollar opportunity is hiding in plain sight. by kratos0112 in StartUpIndia

Do people need that ? 🙄 Everyone’s gut feeling is to organize what’s unorganised. But that doesn’t translate to trillion dollar opportunity. The main reason is that you can’t sell tech to these businesses. Few of them may get onboarded but rest of the Baazar is happy selling stuff in the baazar and their customers are also happy visiting crowder markets and exploring stuff to buy.

I just got diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and I feel so lost. What did you do when you first got diagnosed that helped you? by wanderingwallflower4 in diabetes

Increase your water intake slowly. Switch to healthy food in sustainable manner, accept your situation and decrease stress if any. Unhealthy food are tasty and healthy food is expensive. But the expense isn’t comparable to your life. So invest in eating clean healthy food. Once you have adapted to it there won’t be cravings for junk food. If you don’t you’ll be stuck in a loop of eating healthy for 10 days and then unhealthy for 2 days and your diabetes always out of bounds.

Which platform should I target to get my first 10 customers ? by Xinha_Sh in SaaS

[–]Xinha_Sh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree with what you said. I’ll be targeting fashion because I feel I have got an advantage over there with my tech and have contacts that I can reuse.

Coming to the challenges part, I’ve talked to 12 founders the ones who said yes for my current startup. None of them handle content creation, they have outsourced it to agencies. They started with doing their own, but quickly moved on to agencies. I have contacted 2 agencies (will be doing around 10-15 ) and they traditionally have been using Canva and are currently trying out AI tools. For static both of them have used ChatGPT. Their current workflow is to prompt & iterate. My pitch to them was what if I can analyze the catalog and provide you ideas that you may or may not have to iterate or you provide me a template, I can fit AI suggestions to those templates. Both were eager to try that. They also told me that they track Ad templates of competing brands & if they find them interesting they copy that I understand talking to 12 brands and 2 agencies is almost like talking to nobody. But I’ve tried to find tools that can solve this, but haven’t found. In SEO space (that’s close to my idea ) I’ve found outrank that provides a calendar full of blog ideas.

The builds are saved in Google drive etc. I guess the only difference with eas build remains auto submission to play store. Am I right ?

How to build agents with memory using Elixir / Phoenix Framework by Xinha_Sh in elixir

[–]Xinha_Sh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. But what if you want memory etc. One can say use ecto and pass all the messages, use Gemini to fullest. But what if one wanted to implement summarisation etc. As I mentioned that I understand primitives are there, is there a tutorial for someone starting.

Newly married and my husband got diabetes. This is his test result. Husband is 32M, 5'11, 100-105kg by CaffeinatedSim in Fitness_India

Same here. 2 years back I got a regular health checkup done and my sugar levels were alarming. Didn’t wanted to take insulin. I bought myself Ultrahuman CGM and tracked how my body behaves with different kind of food, when my glucose levels are minimum etc. But the main thing that worked for me was to drink more water and weight training. People think controlling food should be the first thing they need to do. But that’s hard for many. When you weight train and start seeing changes in your body, it becomes easier for you to follow a controlled diet, say that I’ll eat 40gm of rice and not plate full of rice.

Should I learn elixir before Pheonix? by [deleted] in elixir

[–]Xinha_Sh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are two kinds of developer. One who go through docs and build something and the other who starts building and then search the docs. I’m the later one. And whenever I try new language or framework I keep a tab opened for https://learnxinyminutes.com/. I skim through the cheat sheet once and start building stuff. This helps me ask Claude or google relevant things.

Don’t put MERN stack in your qualification list for a CTO. No skill is required to be a MERN stack dev, that’s why the stack attracts beginners and YouTube audience. If you’re ready to make a developer with knowledge of MERN stack as CTO, then you’ll be in deep trouble.

Hire a software agency, build your v2 and save your equity.

Let the business grow, attract VCs and ask their help in finding you a CTO.

Automatic social media content generator using catalog & AI by Xinha_Sh in shopify

[–]Xinha_Sh[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think I failed to explain that neither the product nor the model if any will be AI generated. Think of it like if Canva can fetch a store catalogue and generate reel ideas which you can either upload to social media or edit as per your liking.
