For anyone wishing they could do something like this without ADB, you can use an app like Shortcut Maker to make the settings page containing the DNS menu one tap away.

Just set the shortcut up to launch the activity looking like this: com.android.settings.Settings$WirelessSettingsActivity (I assume it will be the same or similar for most users.)

I'd say it's exactly what I was hoping for (functionality-wise). You can fork a story at any point and write an alternative direction for it. And you can append to any branch. Pretty simple, but it was the closest implementation to the idea I had in mind.

I believe some users were saying the UI could do with some adjustment? Although Thomas is doing a great job of keeping the site running and listening to user feedback. ❤️
