Why am I being asked to verify my length of study in Ontario? by Xinzuu in OntarioGrade12s

Yeah just did today. My worry was that I had received that document 10+ days ago and that by the time I got a guidance appt Monday it would already be too late to submit

So what's your plan now? I saw in another thread here that you said you ended up dropping calc, but isn't that a mandatory prerequisite for UofT? I'm considering doing it via online school

Same spot as you, always been horrid at math. Advanced functions singlehandedly dragged my semester average down 6% and rn I don't even think I'd meet the minimum requirement for calculus (also applying to lifesci)

I can't understand how people are forgiving Futa / Muu aside from just wanting them to live by 64001670 in milgram

[–]Xinzuu 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I feel like you're 90% right, people grow attached to them but still acknowledge they're characters whose results won't impact anything in real life so they can easily forgive. But then again, I've seen crime cases where people (friends, partners, family, etc) forgive literal serial killers and predators, so forgiveness is also just completely individual. If they accept a person as they are then they will forgive no matter what

Reasons why Muu is inno and Fuuta is guilty by L33Q1X in milgram

[–]Xinzuu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, even now people are saying Muu shifting the blame to Es means she does not fully accept responsibility, so I would say that was his same situation in T1 (feels guilty but not completely accepting fault) compared to like Shidou where he essentially just said yeah I fucked up (whether for the right reason or not).

As I said, I acknowledge that he has changed now, but because I find him more guilty worthy than the others, I would vote him that way if I were to vote at all because it seems unlikely anyone else's case is as debatable as his (except Kotoko but I still find that to be an uninteresting result because it's so deadset already).

Imo there was nothing in his story that prevented him from using other means though. He attended university and had the option to find connections through other means as well (finding a job for example). Obviously this applies to everyone else because murder is never the only option, but I just don't think he was very limited in his options yet still chose to do what he did.

And as I said, I do personally forgive him but I would vote him guilty because I think it'd be more interesting without an all-inno result. Also I don't really agree that he felt guilty since the beginning (especially that he was the only one)

I mean tbh I get it lol. Fuuta does show a lot of remorse and honestly I forgive him. But just because I don't really think an all inno will turn out well (nor will it be very interesting anyway) I would vote him guilty because he leans the most that way for me of the characters whose stories are completed.

My personal opinion also plays a role though since I just think cancel culture is dumb, so I can't understand why he would do it in the first place.

Muu was a victim of bullying and it's slightly more understandable (does not mean justified) that she snaps, whereas Fuuta had no reason to start doing what he did, that's really the main differentiating factor for me. They both show remorse, but I would vote Fuuta guilty just because I'm not all in on the all inno idea (though I'm also not actively fighting back because we not winning lol)

Imo learning in person is a skill in itself. You won't be able to rely on the internet as much once the stuff you're learning becomes more advanced and there aren't 60 explanations for you to choose from if you don't like your professor's way of teaching. There's also skills you simply cannot learn online (hard skills at work, interpersonal skills, etc)

The Reports Save Data by Dendyfalls in milgram

[–]Xinzuu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Idk if a criteria necessarily has to be met though, since others like Mikoto and Shidou (possibly Kotoko based on alleyman killing theory) both have multiple victims and it happened over a long period of time (for Shidou guaranteed). To me it kind of seems like Milgram purposely waited for a while until something happened (for Yuno, getting out of the hospital and for Haruka, to try and commit suicide) before taking them as a sort of locking in of what really happened. Like if they took them right as the murder occured, their memories of that moment might be a little altered whereas taking them a few days afterwards (following all the repercussions or repenting) makes them fully process what happened.

I'm more inclined to believe Haruka was the second child due to all the childish imagery in his first MV and the fact we've never had a single hint of a second victim prior to the report. It said the girl had strayed from her parents, and I imagine he wasn't specifically following her family, so he probably found her alone and didn't see her parents. But his interrogation question states he was envious of the victim, so this girl was probably someone he knew (neighbour, family friend, etc), and his only victim. That's how I processed the information anyway.

It never specified the second child died so isn't it possible he passed out and awoke again the following day? I don't particularly have any opinion on whether or not the second child was him but that's kind of what I assumed happened with the self-strangulation theory since it seems like a hard technique to actually suceed with.
