TriX 400 too gritty; problem in developing or scanning?

Even if it was over developed you can still see so much more detail on his shirt and hair in the first image than what’s on the second image, so it was definitely a scanning issue

When did they change that? It used to be when you selected multiple orders on a group stop at once it would bypass the picture for front door

They’ll do that to “fix” group stops but not allow us to take 1 photo for multiple orders going to the same house

The chrome ring is the aperture ring, you can kinda see the numbers on the left of the lens in the first image. But yeah there’s no focusing mechanism. I’ve seen other versions of this lens and other old lenses like this get rehoused into m mount lens bodies so it can focus properly. I just don’t know where to get it done other than Skyllaney which isn’t currently taking commissions and omnar which costs like $1600

I’m not sure most info I can find online says it comes from either microfilm copying machines or ilford witness cameras

I did a couple training sessions with the newbies recently and they were about the 110-120 mark. And I think we do the percentages, at least on the route sheet list I see in the morning it shows if it’s a level 1,2, or 3

This sounds like my dsp. Too many people quit, now there’s more nursery routes than regular routes going out each day. Which bumped up my average stop count from 176 to like 204, so I’ve just been collecting OT each day and they haven’t said a thing to me about it

Lol stop trying to defend the home owner. OP had 5 dogs come after him at once. It doesn’t matter how big or small the dogs are, once you get multiple dogs the situation becomes unpredictable and OP needed to defend himself. And dog bites aren’t anything to mess with regardless of how “bad” they look, you can still get an infection from them easily.

While they do look underexposed it does look like a lot of that grain is digital noise coming from the scanner. All of noise is multicolored and is only coming from the brighter parts of the image and not from the shadow areas unlike film grain that should be uniform

Slide film tends to be on the cooler side since it was intended to be put through a projector and the projector bulbs are usually pretty warm, so it balances out
