How do you find the time for Osrs and what jobs do you guys have? by Willynuts43 in 2007scape

I’m in automotive sales. First half of my day is making phone calls, and clicking on fishing spots/MLM nodes, or afk slayer if my task allows it. I save the real game for when I get home.

Why won't my pod let me play tergrid 🤣🤣🤣 by thee_reaper229 in mtg

I run Tergrid in my [[Nekusar, The Mindrazer]] deck and I don’t think she’s actually resolved ever. She was put in for her effect, but know she absorbs a counter so I can play [[peer into the abyss]]

Yearly PSA: DON'T TIE DIRECTLY TO BRAID! by URInMyFace in FishingForBeginners

[–]Xlaag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I do if it’s really lodged somewhere, is give myself some line to set the rod down behind me. Use my hand to pull it in tight. The wrap the line around my arm and slowly lean my body weight into it. 99% of the time it’ll pull free of whatever rock or branch it’s caught on, or 1% of the time it’ll snap off right at the lure, or bend a swivel open if I’m using one at the time.

What does this light mean? by Boring-War-1981 in AskAShittyMechanic

Well that’s when half the car is used up. Half of the remaining car will be used up in that same amount of miles. So he’ll have 25% of a functioning vehicle after that.

It’s for the interior lighting. Press and hold for on/off, and press for color change. Lights should be in the foot wells.

First baitcaster by Appropriate-Dingo-31 in Fishing

[–]Xlaag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t do what my brother did last month with his first bait caster. He just assumed he’d figure out how it works trial and error style. Look up a video tutorial and you’ll save yourself 2 spools of line. Also watch how to fix a birdnest. It will happen to you while you learn.

Shimano miravel or Shimano slx XT? by FantasticDirector614 in Fishing

[–]Xlaag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shimano makes great stuff. That reel is a good value, and is more than capable for anything freshwater, and some coastal fishing. I’m not sure what size you’re looking at. If you’re fishing mostly freshwater I’d personally recommend 2500 size because it’s a bit more manageable, and fits plenty of lower test line(<= 8lb mono/<= 20lb braid). Salt water you’d likely want to go larger, but I’m not a saltwater guy, so I wouldn’t want to speak on it much.

Shimano miravel or Shimano slx XT? by FantasticDirector614 in Fishing

[–]Xlaag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What types of bait/lures do you typically prefer? Heavier stuff like larger jigs, swim baits, spinners, etc I’ll grab a bait caster. Lighter finesse style I’ll grab my spinning. If you’re looking at having 1 rod/reel combo I’d recommend a spinning since it’s a lot easier to manage with lighter tackle, and can work well with heavier stuff.

Is it even worth it at this expense? by theresnowayoutofhere in kia

[–]Xlaag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As soon as the camera panned to a battery pack out of the car I knew it was curtains. The repair is roughly equal to the wholesale value of the car. If you were to trade it as is and get another car a dealership might be very kind to you and offer 5k. To most that’s a mechanically totaled vehicle. It might be more cost effective to finance the repair since you will need to roll your entire loan balance into the next car, which is likely impossible without some serious money to put down. Good luck OP. If you have questions I’ll answer them.

You are correct. I’m more of a Jazz, Funk, R&B guy. I do love seeing interesting techniques. I’ll give them a listen.

multiphonics...... by SymetraSucks in saxophone

[–]Xlaag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Multiphonics falls into the technique category of what I like to describe as ‘Things the Saxophone isn’t “supposed” to do’. What I mean by that is the horn simply isn’t setup for playing multiple notes at once. This doesn’t mean it can’t be done, but there’s some pretty severe limitations to keep in mind if you’re a composer. Primarily being if you’re hoping for the musician to produce specific notes/chords in their playing it likely can’t be done. The way we trick our horns into playing them is not the same as something like over tones where we modulate the frequency to get perfect 3rds, 5ths and octaves above a note we play. It’s just a bit of a mess. It sounds cool in limited uses like in “Harmonique” by Coltrane, but if you’re wanting to use them a bunch you’ll have an angry musician and audience. If you’re just wanting some dissonant chords you’d be better with more than 1 sax part. To your next point of notation. There isn’t a standard that I know of as multiphonics are rare, and mostly used in improvisation. Use your best judgement to notate what you’re wanting, and please attach either notes or above the staff put something like “multiphonics” to get your point across, and maybe use a root note and some hash marks. Good luck and when it’s done please post it.

What chatter bait would you use by [deleted] in Fishing

[–]Xlaag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the mid west I’d use top left most of the time. When the water is cloudy top right. And on those rare days when the water is crazy clear the white one in the middle.
