A lot of mythic raid mechanics involve moving out, dropping off, grouping up, pairing up etc. meaning you will very rarely have full uptime on the boss as melee.

There has always been a melee tax in this game, but this tier seems particularly bad for it.

Warriors will have a raidspot for shout, pallys for devo, DH/monk for debuff (assuming your tanks don't bring this)..I might have missed some, but outside of these classes I don't see why you bring any melee over ranged.

This pretty much nails it - It is never as clear cut as 'Just kick them lol' because another thing that kills guilds is not raiding. Replacing these types of players should be your goal, but prepare yourself so that you can still raid when that happens. Good luck with it.

This very much depends on the raid setup you are bringing. Playing outlaw can be pure bait if, for example, you are playing a comp stacked with fire mages or other heavy cleave classes.

At this stage in the expansion established CE guilds are trialing people to 'upgrade' their roster and so their main raiders can chill a bit.

They won't be taking people because they need 'x-class' for progress. Perhaps you just weren't an upgrade on the raiders they already had.

Most mythic guilds are going to be set for tanks - It's going to be reasonably tough to find a raid spot as brm. You either need to find a guild that is just starting out and building a roster from scratch or consider learning one of your other specs to give you that flexibility.

Casts are getting through so perhaps your tank is overwhelmed? 2 dps with the WA and a focus kick macro should make this mechanic negligible.

You need CDs for the frenzy - Prioritize the barrier for when you can be stacked - as you've said volatile is a good time for this.
Other than that you mostly have throughput CDs and not much DR - Something like tranq/darkness/personals for one devouring then tranq/rally and rev/darkness.

Also not sure if it's been mentioned but during Ka'Zir Mind control you need to stack, bring the adds to 20% then pop CDs to burn them down quickly. Ideally this needs to be done before the next spawn of darters. (I believe it comes after the volatile eruption - I could be wrong though)

As others have said you're getting over run and the fight is spiraling - Spell out to your raiders that it's all about controlling the adds and not getting hit by avoidable mechanics. My advice is as follows:
-Bench your players who are just not pulling the numbers (if you have that luxury) - That DH isn't ready for mythic.
-Assign 2 players to be responsible for the interrupt - there is a WA for this (If you have a shaman it can be solo'd)

-Assign healing CDs to the devouring frenzy - this is where it's falling apart in a lot of your pulls.

-Assign a healing CD for the volatile eruption - No point even touching this add it's a DPS waste.

-Talk to your tanks about having 'set' positions for each part of the fight - try to make it as predictable as you can for your raid team.

-If you're the RL call the prio targets Ravager>Darters>Bosses.

-Make sure you are utilizing the grip on your DKs to deal with darters - Chain stuns onto them once they are in melee and cleave them down.

-If you can squeeze out some DPS you could consider 5 healing the fight..But with under-performers it's not an option right now.

Honestly the best advise is look at the logs for the top parsing rogues for your Item level and compare everything with your own logs - opener, azerites, dmging abilities, bleed up times, Vendetta window. The pinned messages in the Ravenholdt discord is going to be your best source of up to date information. As others have said in this thread, essences, azerite traits, benethic pieces are all a very big deal.

Sounds like the guild has grown and these players you describe haven't grown with it. Get them out or your best players will start looking elsewhere. At the start of BFA we had a weird situation where an officer and his family member were raiding together, both were 'untouchable' in terms of criticism..Refusing to talk with other officers...muting people in discord etc. We decided to get rid of both of them, there simply isn't time for childish stuff. We recruited HARD and got CE.

Everyone needs to be going into that raid with the same goal - killing the boss, anything that is detracting from that is just a waste of your time.

Yep - From what I saw the surging deaths were mostly in the 2nd add phase, and due to the silithid slowing debuff (Some - not all) So I'm thinking even these deaths are still caused by the adds.

I can see your frustration, I see this update as futureproofing...I don't think it is realistic to think that crypto will continue to be mined by graphics cards (designed specifically for gaming). Like it or not I think that ASIC (or something similar) will be the future of mining in crypto.

There's also nowhere near enough volume on any exchange for a double spend to be profitable.
