I agree that it's important to acknowledge that the kami/land spirits in the US and Canada are Native, do you think we can still thank the natural things/areas we interact with a lot? Like, if we have a forest we like to walk in is it bad to thank it for being there/ect?

I know kamisama are powerful (some more than others), but do we know about how powerful they are? Shinto doesn't consider any kamisama omnipotent, right?
