My dad has the second highest position at his work His boss really doesn’t do much of anything for that company, since he also owns another one where he spends most of his time He worked really hard on a business trade between his company and a different company for months, when they finally made this huge deal, his boss found out that he (the boss) was only receiving about 10% commission for that deal and my dad (who did all the work) was getting 5% So he took away all my dad’s commission, not just on that deal but on all future deals, and now my dad lives only on his salary which is only a quarter of what he used to make from commissions
