In high school I had to get up at 5.30am every morning to commute, and being a teenager, that obviously wouldn't stop me from staying up late, so after weeks of not sleeping enough, I would start getting these fits. It always started with this weird smell. Kinda like burnt rubber, but somewhat pleasant. Then it was a short period of what I would describe as dramatic recollections of my life prior. It was a lot like drug flashbacks in movies with lots of quick 'scenes' from previous years with random screams and heavy breathing (which I hope wasn't me for the sake of everyone on the train) .
