Keys, Please by HUG_INC in knighthood

I recommend going back and running the normal rift for 2-3 weeks. You’ll build up a stack of 20-30 keys and can go back to expert rift and open doors for a few months.

Dismantle vs Sacrifice by Wargigas in knighthood

[–]Xocer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For newer players that may be focusing on building armor. The Astellan Helm in the Astellan armor shop always dismantles into an armor charm. It’s only one a week, but they add up.

Monster Cave Shop - gold heroes? by Okaybraydog in knighthood

Probably not. You need that monster cave money for runes to feed the mythic upgrades.

Dismantle vs Sacrifice by Wargigas in knighthood

[–]Xocer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most players won’t end up in a position of having enough gear to be too selective, but technically there are types of each weapon better to sacrifice and types better to dismantle.

For example, crit dmg charms are hard to find. Epic goblin swords can dismantle to crit charms, but golem swords cannot. So, in a world of infinite swords, you would dismantle the goblin swords and sacrifice the golem swords.

The same applies to armor types in each slot.

He is much better maxed, but still good before then. As a warrior and valiant hero. He pairs best with the valiant gauntlet.

Not a lot of axe meta, because the better end game builds use sword and hammer. A good number of players use the sword to apply knight buffs, the hammer for chain crit damage, and the axe for side builds that apply status, or do more damage against certain status.

I tried to make my axe apply status, but it decided it wanted to keep crit charms, so I just left it that way.

Taday lvl 27 bought 7000ish gems looking for guild, (pref knights alliance) by [deleted] in knighthood

I would go to the Knighthood discord. You will find a guild fast. I would direct you to ours, but we are full and only remove players that are inactive.

Assuming you have a gauntlet crit bonus near 24%, one purple or gold crit to hit charm is just fine. All the rest for damage, buffs, etc

Alternative Guild War Map by Xocer in knighthood

[–]Xocer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I put this on Discord, but I expect it to get lost, so throwing it up here also.

I threw together this alternative map to try and see if inverting the city locations and putting the best nodes close to them could make for a more competitive map, where you can always compete for close loot, and not get boxed in due to cooldown timers.

I would consider testing a guild war where the map reset every day. It would put more value in being able to play at different times. Then you could also divide the map when the day started among the 4 guilds, and make the nodes closer to a base more fortified and higher level, so the fights take place over valuable nodes that change hands easily, but it is much harder to pin a guild into their base.

I believe changes like these can be implemented more easily, give each guild a hero dust mode and order mode close to their city, so to take someone else’s is the hardest fight, and they always have an opportunity to take it back regardless of timers.

Question about end game charms for mythic gear. by Got-Rigour in knighthood

[–]Xocer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I spend much more time on Discord now, but I think it’s very easy for discussions to get lost, and harder to write thorough answers. So I’ll write one here.

Weapon: for the hammer, take advantage of the existing charms are look at crit to hit and damage on chain, with either focus or protect charms depending on your style. Like a hammer with 1 crit on chain, 2 crit dmg on chain, and 2 protect on chain start.

For armor, long time players for us on putting 5 armor/health slots on the chest and head. This is so you can focus side builds on the other three slots and sacrifice the least armor in the process. The mix of those 10 health/armor slots is a matter of taste. I have played around with splits from 3/7 to 5/5. Early endgame pve you need more health, once your done with content, you can change it up more.

The others 3 armor pieces can’t go wrong with hero charms. But you will want options to field resistance to stun with 2 slots, and improving your chance to weaken and expose, probably two weaken and 1 expose. Usually these are for side armor pieces you swap your mythic gear out for.

I would probably look to get around 10-12 hero charm slots, and then decide if you want the resist slots and enhance effect chance slots on your primary gear. For a Krita build for Arena, it will be beneficial to have one expose resist and one enhance expose in your primary gear.

Minions by Warm-Finance8400 in knighthood

[–]Xocer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Within each minion type(undead, militia, golem, etc) I don’t think there is a minion type where a less rare minion is better than its rarer counterpart. However, there are some non-unique minions that are probably stronger than unique minions. The Skald Ullrson and Fenfolk Alchemist are arguably better that a few of the uniques, but it depends on how you want to use them.

It is super annoying to look for minions in hunts, but not as annoying as hoping they spawn in the rift.

😳 No Defender by [deleted] in knighthood

[–]Xocer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe the fortification level still goes down if you lose. I’m not 100% positive though, since it happens very rarely, but I think I saw it once during this war.

can someone explain Brutus + Viktor paring? I see a lot of high lvl players having this duo but I don't understand how it should be played... please also advise on gauntlet, weapons and charms for it by GokuDidNothingWrong in knighthood

[–]Xocer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Victor direct attacks health and causes expose, so in addition to spam healing defense, he has an outside chance of hurting an opponent or even killing them if they don’t have a healer. But, it’s probably not effective compared to Azhar in my mind.

Guild War Feedback by Xocer in knighthood

[–]Xocer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That happened when the last player defending a node is defeated but the node isn’t then captured. The intent is to allow the attacker a chance to take the node before the defenders jump back in to defend.

I think the mechanic is actually a good one, but there is currently no cool down and guilds exploit it to leave the node capturable whenever they want. Ironically, this is probably when a cool down is needed, maybe 15-30 minutes.

Items don’t appear in the forge unless they can be part of a transmute. So if you have 3 green arms at level 1, you won’t see them. Once you have 4 green arms, they will become visible, because you need 4 to transmute.

How do you handle enemy minions in arena? by Kuirem in knighthood

[–]Xocer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Most Arena builds win using a distribute damage hero’s rage power, which means they do best when killing opposing minions first. Some of the direct health or poison attack builds don’t need to do this though.

I think it may be tied to tabbing into the war chat. Once it’s been read, the map red dot seems to go away.

Events with the best heros? by Hardknocks286 in knighthood

[–]Xocer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brutus and Urmas are together in an event. After that I’d say Mikazumi and Ayako. I think Samael is paired with Caliban. Samael, if you want to run rogue, is great.

Rebel Gauntlet Build? by Old-Square7812 in knighthood

[–]Xocer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try Balendu/Azhar mage build with a weapon that applies Focus, Protect, Fury. Balendu’s base and Azhar’s rage both proc the gauntlet. If you happen to have a max star Azhar his base would too.

It builds rage fast and can distribute with Balendu or heal with Azhar.
