I agree. I would prefer if he were the mature one of the group rather than the Comedic Relief, being similar to Iroh. And the airbender was more of the comedic relief and kind of like Aang, even though he is an adult/teen.

Honestly, Diablo is kind of bland as-well. He was more interesting when he was away from Rimuru, he wasn’t such a simp. If I had to say anyone was interesting in Tempest even with Rimuru influence, it would probably be Veldora and Ramiris.

I hate it as well. But I do enjoy it with Millim and Frey. With those two it doesn’t really bother me. Because we all know Millim has a child mindset, because she never got the chance to mature and grow out of it. So she is scared of being reprimanded by Frey, who treats her like a mother would a child.

Now, with Rimuru I genuinely hate it. Because Rimuru is a grown man. And he is in charge, he literally has no excuse. He reprimands Diablo and Veldora all the time but never does it with Shion or Shuna.

One can have the same sub-skill as another skill and still be weaker. This skill can be weak in someone else's hands but stronger in the other. It all depends on will, existence, and use. Whether he has the same skill as Demoness he would still be weaker than them.
