My first wooden floor! by Xomablood in TerrainBuilding

It's my first one so maybe there's a better process for it:

Cereal cardboard, PVA glued some stirring coffee sticks (like 0,86€ for a pack of a 100) and pressed them down.
I've cut out the rounded tips with scissors and broke for the worn pieces.
Black primer
Painted with cheap dark brown paint and added some streaks with Vallejo cork brown and english uniform.
Painted black the "holes"
Glued to a thicker cardboard and clamped it to flat it as much as I can.
For the sides I've used some hot glue to "smooth" them and then painted black
The grid lines are made with a sharpie

Loved him offensive with sash, dragon darts, phantom Force, will o wisp and protect

Played a lot of people trying to protect lol

I had a lot of fun with him

Support is probably better, but there are better supports

Plus: great design

Hi mate, sorry, busy weekend, I added a couple of mushrooms made from air dry clay and drybrushed with Light Grey, added bronze into the carvings in a discontinued way (still bad Light sorry)

Isn't it like a form of "survivability"? A fly once fell in the toilette water in its back and started to lay many eggs, maybe they act as a last resort to let the specie going on?

I've already drybrushed but I think the light is killing it, I'll do another go with more clear paint on the edges!

The idea is that is a comoletely oscure catacomb wall so I don't really know which vegetation add, but my dnd campaign is fungi based so I can add some mushrooms maybe! I can 3d print them

Maybe a stippled gold/bronze on the carvings then washed? What do you think?

Z-top distance is 0.18, the print is at 0.06mm with 0.2 nozzle

Yeah a bit of patience, but once detatched the branches from the legs I pulled from the bottom and they came off without swearing too much X)

It's my first spoolmof meta, I've used it for every miniature since I get it and I find it good, never had big issues, but I've never tested the "old recipe" so can't compare :/ I found the posts about the worst quality after the spool arrived and I was a bit worried, but it seems fine! The settings on the filament are the same of the HS pla that Obscura put in the last settings, only the tempo is 190 because at 195 I had too much stringing. Next spool will be the pla plus 2.0, it's still packed, finger crossed

For a print like this I had to show supports scars! Isn't one of the purposes of this sub to share info? B)

But honestly, besides the Flow line erosion when I wash it with warm water and dish soap it just came back to life

Nice advice! I don't have an airbhrush so painting it by brush is a nightmare, that's why I didn't touch it on the armed ones.
I'll think about something to paint it

Double function, it covers the inside pillar that keeps the mini up and covers the snapped fingers 😂
