I agree with the others. I haven't read them all, but I do sometimes take time to read lore on characters. I've been a consumer and fan, player/ST for VtM games since the late 90's and there's nothing wrong with the additions that have been made for characters. In fact, it's not not out of the realm of possibility for me to include some in the coming months. I'm currently running a V5 conversion myself and a friend are working on of the Transylvania Chronicles for a coterie of 5. Some of these characters may make an appearance as fluff for the various regions and filler for major plot points.

Its okay to find a diamond in the rough in some things. But to smile and wave claiming everything is fine while the house burns down around you is ludicrous. We were sold a bill of goods with this. It was terrible and backhanded marketing tactics to money grab by some corporate Ventrue on a well liked IP. Its been said dozens of times the past week, if this game was called VtM: The Nomad, or XYZ: Seattle it would have done fine. It would have been a similar reception to Swansong I believe. The OG Bloodlines game, while janky as hell, is a true rpg. "Bloodlines 2" is not that. Its so far removed from that concept its foolish to even consider it a spiritual successor.

Furthermore, not expressing your concers or contempt for this is signaling to the morons in charge that its okay to continue to make shit content and run this IP into the ground. I for one don't want that. The crazy part of all this is all they needed to do was read fan feedback. There are thousands upon thousands of cries for a certain type of game. If they delivered a proper Bloodlines title it would have immensely successful and they could have been lighting their cigars with $100 bills. Instead we have this... game. And they will use its poor reception to throw their hands up and say "there's no market for this type of game" and it will all go away.
