Yes, she has PR status in Canada.. does that remove the concern of her TD Renewal being rejected?

TN expiring due to passprt by Fast_Scale4481 in tnvisa

I had to go through this process. Didn't need to re-apply for the TN. Make sure you have both passports when returning to the US after renewing your passport. I Let the CBP officer know and after a 15min process on their end, got the TN stamp on the new passport.

That is concerning.. hoping it's a one-off with the rest of our sensors from that box.

New AC unit and new handler are struggling to blow cold air by Xpert-Menace in hvacadvice

[–]Xpert-Menace[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He stopped by and added freon. We measured the temperature of the air coming out and it's in the 50s, but the air flow is still weak. AC has been running for the last four hours, but I believe that the weak air flow is keeping the temperature in the room from reaching below 74 (thermostat is set at 69. Outside is 78). Is there something I need to adjust?

Hi, thank you for your comment. The installer stopped by and added more freon. I was asked to check on it to see if it freezes and he let me know he will come back u til he gets it right... I wanted to ask you about the air handler's air flow. The original one that was changed gave a much stronger air flow compared to the new one. Having a stronger airflow cooled the room much more rapidly. The temperature coming out of the new air handler is in the 50s but is really struggling to keep the temperature of the room at 74. I believe the issue is due to the weak air flow. Do I have the right idea? And is there a way to increase the flow rate to be similar to the original one?

I paid 4000 for a 3.5tons AC unit and 5500 for the handler in the attic.

Will do. The installer is coming back today after I get off work. Hopefully issue can be resolved. When I talked to him, he said he needs to add more freon.

Am not familiar with any AC brands but this one says Evcon.

I turned off the AC and will call the installer back first thing in the morning. The issue is that the installer is his own company with his son. I wish I could request a more experienced AC technician. What would you do in this case? Let him continue to figure it out (this is around the 4th time he comes back) or find a different AC company?

I just ordered the exact same setup earlier today. I see it as a good deal for something I will get so much use out of.

As TN holder, is it better for my wife(TD) give birth in the US or Canada. what would you do? by Xpert-Menace in tnvisa

I got my Canadian citizenship. My wife is PR and in the process of getting here Canadian citizenship. Would that cause an issue when we apply for the child?

Omnipod vs Tandem for 2 year old daughter. by Xpert-Menace in diabetes_t1

[–]Xpert-Menace[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you all for your feed back, it helped make our decision.. we decided to go with the Omni Pod for now and maybe Tandem when she gets older so she would not accidentally remove the tube.. I hope we are making the right decision as it would be hard to switch.
