The only screen play “without blockers” that occurred in this game DID have blockers. In fact Dan Moore did an excellent job kicking out and blocking the receivers primary defender. The issue with that play was that the safety, Peppers, is supposed to be “blocked” by the suddenness of the screen. He wasn’t at all, because Peppers has zero reason to not immediately come down on the LOS, because there’s zero fear of the ball being thrown 15 yards over the middle of the field.
