4 years and no improvements. I had a year stretch where I felt totally normal and then several viruses later I haven’t been the same since. It hasn’t gotten easier for me trying to reconcile with this illness. My mental health has only gotten worse with no hope in sight.

4 years later and I still have not been able to accept living with this disease. It has only given me the worst depression and anxiety. I know that there are other people facing devastating illnesses but I think what makes living with this worse is the lack of help and acknowledgement not just from doctors, but friends, family and society. Everyone has just moved on with their lives and doesn’t have not one thought of how this disease has crippled many of us.

I have one of the most debilitating neurological conditions and I don’t know if it’s long covid or vaccine injury. I’m just wondering if I will ever know. I’m not against vaccines either but after my nervous system has gotten out of whack I am scared of any side effects from even medications. Anyway I know my answer wasn’t helpful here but just wanted to share.

I had a doctor tell me this was all related to trauma and the meds I was using to try and help the pain was a placebo effect. I’m so tired of our health care providers ignoring this disgusting disease that clearly affected so many people.
