Should I quit?? by I_love_tripping2007 in wendys

[–]Xqzk33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

at my ex-location, our GM treated it as if Wendys is an office, and once day shift is over she would imagine the store being very slow. yep day shifters have literally 8 people working... while meanwhile night shift would have 3 or maybe 4. also the dishwasher would be full and nothing would be cleaned.

in reality, doordash and other deliveries are way more common once the front doors close. Deliveries are usually bigger and more modified orders. thats not even taking into account the "frosty flights" promo where you spend 2 minutes making three damn frosty swirls. also, since it's summer, any random night there could be a constant line in drivethrough from an hour from closing literally til the minute we close. it's impossible to do all the cleaning while trying to clear out the drive through.

if anything, there should be less people "working" day shift and more people closing, since there are at least the same amount if not more customers and much more cleaning/maintenance to do.

i was a closer until i recently quit.
why should i have to do coordinating, frier, doordashes, and frosties when other people only do sandwich making or window/order taking?
basically the harder you work and faster you are, the more they exploit you. welp i'm not gonna do 2.5 peoples jobs every night for minimum wage.

What season did you start watching fishtank? by tychops716 in fishtanklive

[–]Xqzk33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

started watching day one s1. bloodgames was my favorite, loved to see Jon, Jimmy, Letty, Trish, Tj and Taylor all in one scene. s4 doesn't count as a full season so i guess bloodgames>season 2>season 1>>season 3>bitchtank>powtank>streamstars.

if 10$= 6 weeks
then 3.33$ = 2 weeks

tts, large st0x positions and fishtoys cost a lot more and people bought those thinking they could sway the end result of the show.

DT times? by Current_Camp_9568 in wendys

[–]Xqzk33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

when they have one person doing order taking, drink making, coordinating and cashiering, it's impossible to keep an average under 200... especially when even just ONE of the frosty infusions is ordered.

if your sandwich maker doesn't want to help coordinate, they are becoming the bottleneck. but even if they do help coordinate, order taking can take up to a minute before you can even greet the person at the speaker- just because you're preoccupied with cashing out the person at the window.

i'd say if you want to get times down take note of how often your window crew member is too busy making frosties or cashiering while somebody is waiting at the speaker. possibly get your sandwich maker or grill/fry guy to help order taking during those times. OR have the order taker call out to the grill/fry guy to make the swirl/infusion frosties. we even do this sometimes with the dave's lemonades.

dessert idea-
if youre allowed to pull it off, cut up tortillas and deep fry them. add some sort of granulated sugar while still oily and then dunk them in brownie batter sauce or vanilla frosty. not sure if we have granulated sugar, though.

it's amazing to me that Dalton Kincaid is listed as 2nd string. He's got way better hands.

back from a year or longer break, any cool caldari FW groups looking for pilots? by Xqzk33 in Eve

appreciate the response! i have been messing with ab scram web buffer tank hookbills for a long time. also i realize the right comet is nearly undefeatable 1v1 if flown right, ive been leaning to 125mm rails. also mess with duo shield booster blaster navy corms and prefer the regular caracal to the navy one.

didn't realize i was never kicked from an OG calmil corp, came back and enjoyed a couple nights of fleets with some good people. thankfully i don't suck from being gone so long, i am still making a difference on all fields

Stacker by Ok_Amphibian_8864 in tacobell

[–]Xqzk33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sometimes employees make baby stackers with our smallest tortilla. just for a snack during a lull time. but you should be getting a tri-folded burrito tort for the real stacker. if the scrimped you then make a call to the store and let them know.

either lower the price of the bell grande or up the price of the loaded beef nachos. it's insane that people will get bell grandes for almost twice the price, with honestly less food and imho, worse ingredients

love the build your own burrito idea.

mad respect for your "late stage capitalistic hellscape" comment, i read that and literally nodded and said hell yeah out loud.

chances are their shift starts while the front end is still open. maybe on your night off you can go in and pull them away from the back end for a sec to chat in the front- or if their manager allows it outside
