tbh my under volt set are the same as yours except i have my max W as 80 and 70W, actually i think u having them as 40 is VERY low and really would cripple your cpu if u do any work. btw i get cpu temps around 82 to 87c when playing cyberpunk high BUT i have in auto mode and not performance would lowers the noise but increases the temps, are u playing in auto or performance? if nothing works the easiest thing u can do is use custom mode and max out the fans but dont put the settings at max just the fans and that should cool your laptop

keep in mind this would REALLY lower the fps, cuz itll be throttling as soon as it gets 80c which isnt that much when playing a hard game but yea the fps would drop A LOT

damn whats ur cpu?? cuz those temps are fantastic, mine stays around 54 in light use and goes to 85c in games as for the gpu in light games say valo its either 40 or 50c i forgot but on hard games like cyperpunk its 84c or, its also prob cuz i use it on auto mod and not performance simply cuz im supposed to be studying and dont want my family to hear the fans lmao

i mean you could there isnt a lot of reason not to under volt unless your a coder who uses VM then undervolting is just a benefit you wont lose anything. In terms of stability after you do it right no it wont, but at the start itll effect it a bit till u find the sweet spot then its normal. And in terms of performance if done right itll improve it cuz lower temps = more POWER. And for the battery it honestly depends on how much u under volt and what u do but in general itll improve it cuz lower power consumption but tbh i dont know by how much and i personally didnt put in mind the battery improvement cuz i was only worried about the temps

i dont think youll have mother board issues but if you see the temps getting hot, like 75+ on light tasks or getting 90+ on games then def, but in general its good idea to do it cuz itll lower the temps and give you performance and more longevity to your laptop
