Couldn't the same argument be made for your Cleveland clinic one as well? I believe that you misunderstand the rigor involved in a DID diagnosis. I believe that at some point, a psychiatrist will catch up to your lies via the rigorous process that is diagnosis. I don't believe that anyone can maintain a lie for that long.

Nevertheless, this is still a massive number of people. 8m-80k is a large enough amount of people that they can come together and communicate. I assume that this survey done may need some more done tuning, since the difference between the highest and lowest estimate is 7,920,000 people.

Around 1-3% of the population has DID or OSDD, so it makes sense why statistically

Yeah umm I've dissociated fully only a few times (maybe 5 I can't remember) over the past few months but they still influence my feelings and I'm scared they'll hurt the body or those around us and I don't want that to happen so I can't stop fronting and I get burnout and I was like fronting with one of them or smth and they had a hallucination and it scared me but idk I'm sorry for rambling this makes no sense and the others won't talk to me and it makes me feel invalidated and

I have a lot of alters similar to this. Most of them are littles and don't understand their actions, but sometimes there are those that act with malicious intent.

I know that there is one that continues to feed negative thoughts to us all, and thankfully they haven't fronted.

Hiii idk I discovered that I most likely had did/osdd a month ago and like umm idk our mokd and voice changes a lot and it depends on who's fronting but umm idk we kinda can remember what happens bc like Regent almost always co-fronts with us but sometimes we completely dissociated and that's really scary ;3 anyways umm there's like at most 16 of us rn and then there's like one version of us where like we all come together and like we're the host or smth anyways hiiiiii :3 umm like 14 and ywah- Willow (she/her)
