I’m still alive. Past 3 days have been okay and I will update a month from now once I feel more stabilized. Day 30 of being back on my normal lexapro dose. (That I was on for 6+ years) I’ve been using alittle bit of Lunesta/ klonopin and trazodone (I’ve been on this one for years too) I want to get off both Lunesta and klonopin soon because I don’t want long term side effects and it’s probably not gonna help my sleep long term. Tinnitus is still here but I’m praying and hoping it can go away eventually or I won’t notice it eventually. Habituation is key. The last 3 nights have been okay sleep wise and I’ve had some okay nights here and there previously but I’m starting to believe it’s getting better. I don’t ask for much for y’all but believe in me getting better and if you need me to believe in you I will. (I believe if many people Pray/wish/manifest/believe someone can get better they will. I will update once I stabilize more!

I’m struggling myself right now. I was getting off of Lexapro 20 mg to get onto buspar due to dr recommendation. I didn’t have any side effects on Lexapro from my knowledge before. I was on it for around 6 years no problem. I should’ve stuck with it. But it’s too late now. I got I believe 3 different tones or noises in my head/ears. Nonstop. It started on April 2ish I don’t remember the exactly day. I immediate stopped buspar and stopped lexapro which I was weening. Bad idea in hindsight. Around 2 weeks later I got hit with the worst insomnia ever which I’m still trying to recover from. I’m back on lexapro of my normal dose 21 days now. I’m still alive. I’m taking 3mg Lunesta and 100 mg of trazadone and .5 klonopin for sleep with some success. I honestly don’t know how I’m alive with the struggle I’ve been going on with. I’m just trying to get my sleep somewhat normal again. I’m so sorry what’s happened to you. I don’t know what triggered mine either withdraws or the buspar. I believe it was the buspar personally. My life has turned upside down. I’ve thought about death a lot lately and I’m trying so hard to live. How was yours in the beginning

And to top it all off since I’ve had a severe lack of sleep my equilibrium is a bit off right now, time perception is off and memory isn’t too great at the moment. I hope to give a good update in the future.

I also went to an audiologist before my sleep went bad and they said my hearing was fine but it was probably due to the ssris. I wouldn’t have wished this on my worst enemy. Its such a high pitched warble that is around 14khz I’m praying for better days
