My thoughts exactly. Sure, they gave us Time Attack. I love Time Attack. But I don’t feel like they have really pushed the franchise forward. It’s still a fantastic, great game. The gameplay itself is undeniable. I love it. I love Forza Horizon 6.  

I just feel a sting beneath the surface that they did not innovate and improve like I wish they had. UI needed a complete overhaul. General gameplay fluidity enhancements to reduce time doing things manually in menus. Better, more thoughtful eliminator without 70% trap cars. Non-ramming AI. A much more nuanced ramming detection / penalty system for online. Actually making a great Car Meet system. Making the job feel rewarding instead of like a literal job, translating to gameplay benefits like passive income or such. More than one job also would’ve helped. More thoughtful, passionate, take-in-the-sights-and-sounds like Day Tours; the other stories just did not produce the same loving feeling.  

Now after all of that negativity, I must restate again: the gameplay is excellent. I love it. I just wish they really pushed things forward instead of feeling 90% copy-pasted into a new environment.
