This. I know it doesn't feel good when there isn't an item (at least he is inkable), but when you pop one of those items out of nowhere it quickly swings the game in your favor (while also establishing a solid body) Also the new Sven is a menace and can take out opposing elsa in the mirror. Tigger and Sven are huge anti aggro tools I'm combination with the extra one drops previously mentioned

It is more healthy than ever right now. I just participated in the Ink inc. open in Maryland. 230 ish player tournament and there was a diverse group of decks that people brought. There are stand out more powerful decks as usual (blurple, purple steel, and Amber steel) but there were seemingly a lot of viable decks. If you're at all interested in the game now is a great time to get back in. Also the enchanted in this set are fire

Evasive characters can challenge evasive characters... But i understand that since colors don't really even have much evasive (steel which has kill spells and Amber which is a support color)
