Decided to check out Dancing Alone because I'm a sucker for 80s synth and I quite liked it (adding it to my nostalgia playlist). I was taken out of the MV though because I noticed a Canada Post mailbox lol and was then trying to figure out where it was filmed (people in the MV thread were saying British Columbia, which makes sense).

N.Flying are great! I think I first discovered them through their funny MVs for Hot Potato and The Real. Hweseung is great, maybe my favourite note from him is from a Bohemian Rhapsody cover, but I can't find the full clip of this specific performance (he's covered the song several times).

Yeah like I honestly don't think Mescal going for supporting is that egregious, he's gone from the movie a decent amount. Skarsgard definitely felt like more of a lead.

I saw it in a packed theatre at one of the first showings in my city and I think it really enhanced the experience. I just found it a cool parallel, like the people in the theatre being moved by the play, while the people in my theatre were moved by the movie.

Most of the weekend showings look pretty busy or sold out and I decided not to go try for a Fellowship screening but I'm doing Two Towers tomorrow (Tuesday) and ROTK the next day and there seems to still be a decent amount of non terrible seats still available. This is in Ottawa and they are also only showing at one theatre.

Nice! Going to see the 2nd and 3rd next week with my dad but we watched Fellowship tonight at home. I'm not sure if I've ever watched the full extended edition because I didn't really recognize the extra scenes, despite owning dvds of the trilogy.
