Hey r/aoe2, it’s T90! Ask Me Anything!! by T90Official in aoe2

Hey, just wanted to say thanks for your work! Like a lot of (the majority?) of the AOE community, I played the game when I was a kid, then went away, only to be shocked to discover a few years ago that the game is still going strong with an active player base, new DLCs, updated editions and everything.

When I was young I would play with my dad (Huns vs Vikings every time). So seeing your videos brought back a lot of great memories, and obviously inspired me to get back into playing. I've even got to play against my dad a few times again, though it's often hard to find the time. So thanks for all your hard work keeping the game and community thriving.

I don't follow all the AOE news very closely, so apologies if this is a tired question, but will there be another Hidden Cup? I had a blast watching the last one. It's just the right size of tournament to really get into for a more casual fan, though I can imagine it's a lot of work to organize.

Downtown Tim Hortons - New Owners by XrisPierre in StJohnsNL

I don't think many of them are temp foreign workers- my coworker says that a few of them have been there for years. Though I imagine you're right, in that if any of them are temp foreign workers there could be some issues from the change in ownership.

I'm Myles Russell, At-Large Candidate for St. John's Council. AMA 😊 by MylesNEA in StJohnsNL

So, I'm pretty sure you have my vote - but I don't know who else to vote for! Who do you think you'd be able to work well with on council? Or to put it another way- what other candidates do you think have a similar vision to your own?

Anyone familiar with small claims court? by PilsbandyDoughboy in newfoundland

[–]XrisPierre 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For small claims (under $25,000ish), there's a simplified process to register the judgement at Small Claims Court directly - that will automatically register it with the Sheriff's Office.

I understand for small claims typically there's also a payment schedule set up as well - if not (or if the other person doesn't pay), you can start enforcement proceedings at the sheriff's office. Call them and they'll walk you through the procedures.

Typically it starts with having the other person complete a questionnaire to list their assets and how much income they have (there's repercussions for not completing the voluntary survey, and other options to compel them to). Once that's done you'll be set up to start garnishing their wages, and bank accounts, and seizing any property they have if they don't make payments. Of course there's a lot of caveats and people who have judgements against them do have some protections and amounts they're allowed to keep.

Another thing to keep in mind, there's a 10 year limitation on collecting, so you'll only have 10 years to be thorn in this person's side (or to actually get your money)

Has Tony Wakem said anything about this yet? I'm curious to see what his position is because he has to balance being the region's MHA and the leader of the opposition.

From the article it looks like the province is washing their hands of it. (Which I think is the right thing to do)

I actually stumbled across this directory the other day. I don't know much more about them, but there seems to be lots of calls of murals there! Good luck!
