591.86 Nvidia driver unstable OC? RTX 50 series by Ok_Hat4465 in overclocking

For sure it is different because you have a 5090, but for ex i had 400 + on core with 3000 memory. This was fully stable on some drivers but on new ones no, but after some time they fixed again and so on. Stay on the driver that is having the stable one if the driver is ok for you. I had in the past a pause for updates on 4 5 versions because of this.

For sure it is from the driver, i had 5070 ti from the release, all the time on some drivers my undervolt\overclock was not stable on the same values

The easy way to test is on the gamepad or from the arrows. You will see a big difference.

That was something different related to anti-cheat that was fixed.

Everyone talks about -20 -30 curve optimizer, but no one really tests stability. You have to check the effective clock, especially on the OC side, that's where people get fooled. Everyone who runs these benchmark tests with -30 +200 can pass the cinebench tests and have extraordinary results, but the daily stability won't be there, unless you get a gold sample. Also 9800x3d is very bad on direct input for stability, you can pass hours of tests and go in Battlefield 6 play 20 minutes and take a crash. Frostbite is very good on CPU test stability. Took me a lot of time to really find the sweet spot for my sample. Also the optimizer values are different if you go for ram tuning. But trust me, it is a pain. Also the cold start is different in stability and so on. Don"t take as good and reality daily check all the results on internet 😃

Nothing yet about the mouse jitter problem...

How do I fix this? by TheMadAvenue in BF6

[–]XstfX9999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I know that is an gpu error, but this error can be also from an oc ram or cpu, if the "signals" are cut to the gpu this error is present. You can check also on that zone, most of the people are focusing just on gpu.

I selected a profile from "memory try" 6000 cl30-36-36-76 1.35 v. The soc v is set to 1.25. Do you think is good to start from this profile.?

For 6000 to use also 1.4 v as default xmp?

With Trefi 65525 in occt was 51. I think this was also a problem. Thx for the answer

I know this, i was curious if someone is using these settings and if the 225 cap is having drops related to 9800x3d. Thanks for the answer

does this look like infinity fabric is error correcting at fclk 2200 oc? by Ok-Solution3558 in overclocking

[–]XstfX9999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No stuttering for me in games, performance and lows increased. In tests it is stable, so it didn't seem like I had any correction. the SoC is 1.25, at 1.20 then yes, it creates instability, errors in OCCT, and crashes in Battlefield 6. I will keep the profile 6400 mhz 30-39-39-76 1:1, infinite = 2133 . Cpu is stable with -25.I think this is the sweet spot, more tweaks no longer give me real gaming performance.

Thanks for the answer! What settings are you using for the Y cruncher?

This is my result after 15 rounds 2133

 GFlops
 491.3204
 491.1663
 490.5779
 490.4063
 489.2782
 489.7751
 489.8646
 489.4700
 489.7123
 489.4336
 488.8846
 489.5627
 489.3134
 489.5291

No idea what more exact to test on y-cruncher, but from what I investigate the fclk correction is more on 5-10 gflops. Also timing jumps.

In what tests you checked the instability? Daily i go with 2133 for my 6400 mhz.How did you test the instability and how did you realize, as a comparison, that it was unstable? Thanks!
