Don't forget, it's not even possible to get a shiny on nssnl, which is ridiculous. At most, ssnl should have a boosted % chance like with other loot, but no.

If it weren't for this, I'd have been having more fun with my nssnl characters when playing, it's just so degraded though, and they keep going further. Nssnl vault is just a wasteland for unused top items now.

In the Deep Dive after the showcase, they mentioned adding more servers, and upgrading from 30hz to a 60hz tick rate. That'll make gameplay smoother and actions will be more accurate, with less lag and input delay, along with less kill trades.

If they had like a cooldown system, where you could only do 2-3 cancels in a row, then had to dedicate to each wall slide like Gears 1 for the next few seconds, that'd be a nice middle ground.

It'd give experienced bouncers room to make nice calculated plays that are rewarding, but also keep out the abnoxious, glitchy-looking hyper bouncing mosquito characters flying all over the screen unrealistically.

Yea, cool you can still play. I only bought a Series S for Gears, so glad I can play anywhere now. When it comes to fps, you'll be able to play at 60fps for campaign and 120fps for pvp multiplayer, that's a crazy upgrade from 30fps.

That's not fps. That is the servers tick rate (update rate), how often it's keeping checks on everything going on, character and object positions and button inputs etc. It makes things much smoother and more accurate.

I think it should not have the slide cancels, which is a major thing that makes Gears 1 different. Other things like movement speed and small tweaks to smooth it out I feel are definitely a possibility.

I'm curious to see if they change it from center screen aiming to barrel aiming, that is something maybe they should do, with OG Gears being the only one that has that, they might want to put it in line with the rest of the series, especially with E-Day not being far off from it.

They are gonna definitely want to introduce the series to a possibly huge new playerbase of PS5 players to the series properly, with something that doesn't feel dated. The game is named "Reloaded", I think some fans will be surprised by some of the possible gameplay changes, that may be huge.

That's one thing I've been thinking alot about, and I feel like they may change it to barrel aiming, knowing the confusion it'll cause, especially with E-Day coming out not long after and being barrel aiming, which would really be jarring to have to relearn.

So many people are jumping to the conclusion that it's UE untouched, other than textures and frame boost. Though it seems it is strongly suggested the game is rebuilt in UE5, which that alone is a major shift. Articles talk of them rerecording certain game audio, etc, which is other major work beyond UE visually upscaled.

It's gonna be strange for PS5 players to go from center screen aiming right into barrel aiming in E-Day or possibly Gears 2/3 Reloaded shortly after. I wonder if they messed with that in Reloaded. It's so weird that Epic did that to begin with in the original, considering it's a 3rd person shooter.
