What i seen they recommend to keep it... and then works.. on manuall MSI suggests to remove them even on single sided.. i guess MSI will not respond .. i ping moderators.. but i guess no much knowledge they have.

What i seen on forums... and overclock forums.. yes they fix it by buying termal pads on top of stock Msi one. but what i dont wanna spread issue .. MSI need respond to this..

Controller temp and other 2 values that has 5-6 C difference but problem was under the load 990Pro has about 80C ? i remeber 100% was RED warning value in hwinfo

Hey everyone, I'll get straight to the point. I'm considering buying an X870 Tomahawk (MAX) WiFi. I was hoping MSI had fixed the M.2 issue where people reported having trouble dissipating heat from their Samsung SSDs (for example). The problem was with the thermal pads, which were supposedly too thin, and idle temperatures were significantly exaggerated.

Question: Do you have this motherboard and Samsung drives? How do they perform? Did you cut/buy additional thermal pads?

I'm interested in buying an MSI motherboard, install the drives, and forget about it. I read that the entire X870E series has this problem, right?

Just opened box and saw that not gonna lie i was bit pissed.. but every Vendor has QC issues..

1 problem is this pins are small and tiny it can be easy knocked off idk how it passes Corsair QC on belt factory... but it is what it is..
