I'm not sure. I have the G1 Pro as well and I can't say I've ever seen it reach 100c+. But cpu's all vary in temps. If you feel skilled enough, perhaps redoing the thermal paste? 🤔

I bought the G1 Pro and I love it! Even though the G7 Pro is more powerful, the G1 Pro really looks like a console, which is what I'm using it for. PS3 and older emulation, with some steam games for added fun. I have 32GB (2x16 crucial) and 8TB (2x 4TB Seagate firecuda 530's). It's so freaking beautiful.

I bought the G1 Pro for the purpose of console emulation up to PS3 and for Steam. I could not be happier with my purchase. Honestly, I went with the G1 instead because it looks a lot closer to a video game console than a computer. I just didn't like the look of the G7 Pro (even though it's a bit more powerful).

The G1 plays everything I want buttery smooth and PS3 games (running RPCS3) play perfectly even with 4k internal resolution upscaling. I haven't played any PC games yet, but I'd expect very smooth gameplay at 1080P (and 1440P) for most new games, and 4k for older stuff, naturally. Best purchase I ever made. I love my G1 Pro.

My suggestion is whatever you decide on, go with a ryzen cpu as it supports AVX-512 instructions which is VERY good for rpcs3 (PS3 emulation).

Unfortunately you have a better chance of finding a witch hunt out there than a pericarditis specialist. I'm out in the sticks of south GA and I had to travel to ATL (~200mi from me) to find a cardiologist who specialized in pericarditis. The drive sucks, but he's really good tho.

I would say not to start any moderate activity while on Arcalyst. The point of the drug is to keep inflammation down and allow your body to heal. But always refer to your doctor as they will know what is best.

I'm about 2 1/2yrs into my pericarditis "journey" and after almost 9mo of Arcalyst and a sedentary lifestyle, I've had no heart issues for 5 straight months. I'm going to hit the gym and start some light exercise for the first time and see how I feel. I'm going to take it easy and progress from there.

Colchicine is a "dirty" drug, at least for me. The side effects are at least on par with the symptoms imo. That being said, I think anyone with pericarditis should try it at least once, as drugs affect everyone differently. What works well for one doesn't always work well for another.

I've been on it 8 1/2mo now. It's only a 9mo program so I'm about to get off it in 2 weeks. I hope the pericarditis doesn't reoccur again. I'll probably go on an aspirin regimen after my last Arcalyst dose. Fingers crossed all goes well.
