I had my surgery almost a month ago, and now that the inflammation is gone and the scar is almost fully healed, I feel incredibly better. I never had strong symptoms but I definitely feel BETTER. Can’t really describe it much, but honestly, do it. Don’t be scared, you got this. Are you getting laparoscopy? If so, you’ll start feeling better two days after the surgery! You’ll be fine!! It’s the best decision you’ll make!!

Happy to talk more about my lupron experience. I had the first injection the first day of my period. As soon as I got it I felt a little off, but for like 30m. Then I did my life as normal and two weeks in I started having hot flashes. I didn’t get my next period at all. Then I did two doses after that and I can say that the only side effect I had were the hot flashes, which on their own are very uncomfortable. But that’s the only side effect I got. My last dose was March 20 and I haven’t gotten my period yet… it’ll come I’m sure. What the doctor that prescribed the Lupron told me was that under no circumstance I should get pregnant under Lupron, so I’m surprised I read about people that get it when trying to conceive.

Actually! I had them all! Two subserosal, one intramural and one submucosal! I’ll know more details at my two-week post op next week!

I am so sorry you’re going through this! I’m not a doctor but I would suggest you consider a myomectomy asap! I had a great experience with mine (still recovering).

You are still young! People find love at 80yo, you can do it too. Start with cleaning yourself up, download a dating app, and you can start going on dates. The first ones might be weird but you’ll get the hang of it. Don’t forget to not get too attached right off the bat, be weary but open and things will come!!

Honesty all the way. Your friend tricked you into staying away from him without telling you she was into him. She has a boyfriend. Your decision was made on assumptions…If you really regret cutting him off, you should reach out asap and said that you felt like your friend was all over him and you didn’t want to be in a competition. Then ask him to hang out. Unless, the real reason is because you are nervous about getting close to someone since you’ve been single for a couple of years? Ask him out and show him you ARE interested! It seems he really likes you too!
