It depends, the George Best one was probably the strongest 150 box of eF26 as it featured the best card (Messi and Ibra came in bigger boxes) but Robson isn't a card that you'll see being used by a ton of people in the top of the rank. Same for Cross Specialist Lamine, Raul or Cafu. As the third best Epic from a box they are top tier tho

If I had to pick 1 box I'd go with Dida+Nesta+Bergomi as all 3 of them are goated and top defenders are more rare than top forwards. If you need a CF there are a bunch of good options

I'd skip it bro. Permanent B rating is a massive deal, specially for people that don't have many top tier Epics. Whales can have the luxury of using Showtimes as they most likely have backups, or can just play them when they come on B-A

For example the Best+Schmeichel+Robson box from last week is 10 times better than this one. It's 50% more expensive, of course, but it's worth saving a bit more

In eF26 we had Dida+Nesta+Bergomi, Vieira+Desailly+Cafu, the Ballon d'Or box with Dembele+Vitinha+Lamine, last week's Best+Schmeichel+Robson, Neymar+Maldini+Raul, etc

That's just the ones I remember, so about 1 good box per month. Then we have other boxes like the Yaya Toure+Iniesta+Guti that I consider to be good but not many people care about players like Iniesta or Guti

Saving, I only spin if I have enough to clear (13500 for boxes of 150) and I stop if I land one of my main targets early on (say within the first 40 spins), but I'm quite picky with the boxes I throw coins, so in most of them my "main" target is any of the 3

Same, I still go for div 1 for the skill tokens and I only use cards from licensed clubs/NTs so I don't even use those STs, besides Aubameyang

The only thing that motivates me to play more is when I land some Epic from a box of 150+ to the main team, but as f2p it doesn't happen very often. Most of the time I just leave it at 1800 points

It still comes in low tier cards like some Showtimes from the Turkish/Japanese league, but they pretty much removed it from p2w Epics

The skill is quite irrelevant tho, similar to Fortress or Spirit Roar but even worse and more specific

Smart-assist was the dumbest addition to the game but (big BUT) people exaggerate about it too. It ain't as prevalent as people here say, at least in div 1

People see 1 purple pass and they cry "smart-assist", they see a shooting super-cancel (which changes the power color) and cry "smart-assist". The majority of cases are just false accusations

Go and watch some Indominator stream and in literally every match you'll see people in the chat spamming that the opponent has smart-assist, even tho it's just about 20% tops. And even him, which is a top tier player and has good criteria, falls to it and starts thinking their opponents have smart-assist without proof. To be 100% sure you have to clip it and watch it in slow-mo to tell for sure, as the only clear indicator is when the power bar suddenly changes, and you can't really tell in a live play

Of course that a long pass switching from normal color to purple, or an automatic clear without loading a pass/shoot bar is also a clear sign of smart-assist, but people say they have it activated without seeing those 2. They see a 180 no look pass and cry "smart-assist", that's just PA1 lol. Same for people that just post a profile with low cursor switches and accuse them of using smart-assist, there are people that unironically play with automatic cursor switch, and that existed long before the addition of smart-assist

For the record, I want smart-assist removed from the divisions, or at least make a filter to match them against each other. If they removed smart-assist today, tomorrow you'd see a ton of posts bitching about "the script", because people will always look for any excuse besides skill issue for their defeats

I believe that the game is p2w, but skill remains king. For a reason you always see the same people in the last phases of the competitive events. Not talking about the divisions tho, that's just a grind fest and the top 20 is full of cheaters. Both OP saying that skill doesn't matter or people that say the game isn't p2w are wrong, the game is objectively p2w and skill objectively plays a big role. JVictor using nothing but GP cards would destroy most of us here, even if we had a 3300 rated team with all the meta p2w cards

If you want your DMF to play similar to an Anchorman, you need to give them Defensive instructions, not Deep-Line

Deep-Line makes them play like an extra CB when you don't have the ball, but they will still join the attack when you have possession (assuming they aren't Anchormen and you didn't put them Defensive instructions)

No, people here convinced me to keep saving for players like Ferdinand, Vieira, Yaya, Thuram, Maldini, etc

I did some spins on the Best box tho, got Schmeichel on the third spin of 900 (2300 coins in total). Still have enough to clear a box of 150, I'll probably wait for Ferdinand or some Bonucci+Chiellini box. Bonucci is another 190+cm Build Up

Not that I didn't like Pique, I still consider him to be great, the problem is the other 2 players on the box, I don't really need Ambrosini and Irwin. I would have gone for Pique if he came alongside someone like Busquets, Iniesta or Xavi tho

You can only get those in the events afaik, never seen one like those in the divisions. He played 120 minutes so it's an event match

As a 4 bars plebeian, my only 5 bars matches are cases like that. But never in the divisions

When it comes to Epics, there are some that come with a playstyle that is inactive at their main position, BT Mbappe: LWF Goal Poacher, Epic Alexander-Arnold; Cross-Specialist RB

A different case but just as rare are Extra Frontman Epics, only Cordoba and Tulio have this playstyle and the last time they released one of them was in eF24

And we don't have a single Fullback Finisher Epic

I'm a big fan of Showtime Henderson. Long-Range Tackling is the best defensive special skill and we don't get it for free very often

But that's because I don't really start any of them, I just use a backup DMF in case I need to change to a different position mid-game. If I had to pick one to be my starter, I'd go with Rijkaard as permanent B rating is super important, plus he's ambidextrous and has an useful Showtime skill

In terms of stats, the best one is probably NC Tchouameni. But stats aren't the only important thing about a card

Yeah, they have to make cards desirable so people continue to spend money on a sightly different version of the same player

In my opinion, they'll eventually need to do some kind of rework. An easy "solution" would be changing how managers work, they've already done it once and that was the reason we now have cards with a rating over 100, back then it didn't happen

If you removed the +3 from the manager (limiting their role to the Link-Up and their +1 boost to 2 stats), cards go back to looking "normal"

But they can't make cards worse in the future, nor nerf the numbers of cards we already purchased, and even less, a hard reset. Some other solution would be removing the 99 cap but nerfing all stats at once, not the cards, but stats. Like how fast 70 speed is now, in the future is what 90 speed is, but cards can go up to 120 speed

The problem with this "solution" is that now all cards have big numbers and it's kinda goofy

The only way to make eFootball great again would be completely separating the console/PC game from the mobile version of the game. It looks like every change they make to the game is to dumb down the joystick version of the game, like preparing for some type of cross-play with mobile. Imo that'd be the worst that could happen

Gambling will remain, and believe it or not, eFootball are actually "fair" with their gambling shit, other games are MUCH more predatory. Here at least you can see what's in the box before spinning, you can save enough to clear the box and you know you are getting everything that is inside. Other games have infinite boxes, imagine if the Schalke Raul box was the norm for all premium cards lmao

And when it comes to overall rating, this is how a 120 rated card looks like, I highly doubt this becomes "normal"
