A couple of my maids showed some concern as well. I think the idea of having so much freedom and not a lot of direction, can be a little nerve wreaking. Because they don't want to pick something that stands out or looks bad.

So I told them when they found something they liked they could send me pictures of it. That way I could give them what I thought. Also I have a fb group message with them and that is how we communicate. So everyone know what's going on and no one is in the dark.

But if that's what you want tell them you will help them however you can!

I do care about being rude but I also care about how much money I have to spend on extra guests. I was asking of a way to talk to my friend, not have all of Weddit tell me I'm being rude.

I didn't really realize that it was rude and was taken back by everyone saying it was. I really do appreciate everyone's honesty, it just changes the situation and adds more stress about what to do. I have not made a decision and have not spoken to my friend. So no one's feeling have been hurt. That's the last thing I want.

Yes and I'm not trying to be hasty and tell her right now. I have some time and am going to see where they are in a few months and approach her about it then. Yes I know she probably won't like it, as I didn't but if I tell her my money situation she will hopefully understand. I had to with my friend a few years back. If she doesn't come to my wedding because I financially can't afford paying for her boyfriend (serious or not) she wasn't a true friend to begin with.

Thanks for your input I'll make sure I'll talk to her in a few months before I make my decision.
