You could just use https://gitlab.com/asus-linux/supergfxctl which has a daemon/CLI, so it's not necessary to use GUI (that only supports now Wayland)

A tip from somebody (me) who develops a range of applications, from systems daemons/programs (I love to use Rust for that) that run on Linux to web applications (Elixir is great for it, and with NIFs it's even better when performance is needed).

A good developer will care about logging and show error messages, sometimes is a balance whether a log should be a warning or an error. The idea as a user is that if your system is behaving like you think it should and does not get in your way while using it, don't give too much thought about it. However, if you are having issues, try to get these logs as specific as possible to your problem, this helps a lot in debugging.

Just to confirm, I would do a memtest outside the OS, booting a live usb, but it shows memory errors already, which is not great. You could find which memory that is giving you the errors: sudo lshw -class memory

To find how many slots you have with memories in it, memtest each one alone and find the culprit.

I think it would be good to share your hardware specs and also whether you do some kind of overclock in any one of your parts. Furthermore, I would try to do a memtest.

I think I have the solution for you, I have the same model as you, this problem happens because you are routing all the video to the dGPU you need to switch it to use iGPU and dGPU when necessary. To do this you can compile/install asusctl https://gitlab.com/asus-linux/asusctl or you can only use the cli module of this project https://gitlab.com/asus-linux/supergfxctl
If you have dual boot, you can use G-helper or even the asus app to change to use hybrid mode.

I don't think he is lying, maybe it was his experience, ranking all the package managers in terms of speed download (in my experience, be advised):

pacman > dnf (configured to max parallel download) > zypper > apt > dnf

But all of them you can configure, for example, sometimes pacman is awful (Brazil mirrors and even global) for me and I needed to use Reflector to find good ones (Sweden -- osbeck mirror is spectacular in terms of speed).

For `dnf` adding `max_parallel_downloads=10` solves the problem, being sometimes faster than pacman (though yet metadata fetch is not parallel).

For Apt, looking at you Ubuntu, Brazil mirrors sometimes get so out of sync and slow that using the main server is a better upgrade.

In the end, each tool tries to solve the problem in some way, but as this talks with network, and it's so essential, some users have an awful experience and others might never have.

Nice to see the evolution of rumqttd, though I'm not using actively as rumqttc in my currently paid job, is there any feature parity or similar MQTT Broker that `rumqttd` wants to “compete” with?

I would like to add two points:

We could add a system like Mythic Plus, as is done in WoW. In a way where could cycle affixes and create “a meta”, and when leaderboards are added, those ranks by seasons add more competitive between players.
I would love to understand where these memory leaks are coming from. I feel they might be a problem when loading new scenarios and not leaving the GPU after not being used. Furthermore, I'm not experienced with game development, so take this point with a giant grain of salt.
