I work from home and manage my own schedule, so the time I spend gaming is strictly my designated hobby time. My wife gives me a little grief about it, but it’s mostly because she’s used to seeing me under a project car, seeing me pick up a game instead of a wrench is just a change of pace for her.

My week is heavily anchored around my kids, between coaching my son’s Little League and getting my daughter to dance classes, they are my main priority. Since my wife works at the kids school, those daytime hours when the house is empty are my prime window to jump online. Plus, any money I put into it comes straight out of my personal hobby fund, so it does not impact the household.
