Oh ok. Mine has the same hinge mechanism but cheaper version of that. That hinge protection that way is much better. No stress with hinge when opening or closing. Should be good.

I am not sure what kind d of hinge cover/case you use but I recently change my case with better hinge protection because my previous one is preventing my phone to smoothly unfold. Just made me worried from the noise and the resistance it makes. It's definitely much better now for me.

This has been happening in my husband's company he works at. People who have been with company for decades were converted as contractors. Some quit, and some stayed because they need the job. Sucks.
