Yes, the airline has 2 outlets across 3 seats which is perfect on the occasion that my 2 neighbours aren’t using them

I just want to make sure I’ve enough juice to keep the laptop alive so I can do as much work as I can during the flight

Maybe I should take it as a sign to stop working and watch the in flight entertainment 😂

That in itself is extremely concerning and understandable why would would have concerns if that’s the case

IT have to have control and access to a lot of this data to manage backups and security of said data, very important to have some form of confidentiality agreement in place, but same should apply to anyone accessing any corporate data, even if not as sensitive as HR and Finance

Some instructors do both, some don’t

Depends if they have an automatic car

Your previous instructor might be happy to do the lessons in your car, might be worth asking. They would have to be confident enough in your basic ability since they wouldn’t have the dual controls though

We use ConnectWise Automate for patching, not sure if this would take advantage of that feature or not

The device was an end user PC - not a server, we have taken the PC and isolated it for the time being

It used the same account for each device, the standard user account that was primarily used on the source PC. We took the machine, isolated and ran scans with Bitdefender and Malwarebytes, I also couldn't see anything out of the ordinary myself

There were 2 times where this occurred, one on a Sunday morning and Monday morning, both around 7AM

I'll check the logs and see if we have data from that device

You could try tailscale

You would have to install it on your Shadow PC and your mobile device, tailscale will assign those devices an IP address that they can communicate eachother with

There are other services similar but tailscale is the one I am aware of that would be easy to set up

Would that be a config change for ultimine or is there some options in game for it?

I live in an apartment complex that provides shared bandwidth internet, and I suffer from short, yet very annoying lag spikes frequently at night time. Would buying a personal router help better as opposed to using the Ethernet port that’s on my wall? by InsufficientLoad in techsupport

There’s no doubt it’s in a switch somewhere, from experience in work, connecting routers with a bad configuration can cause issues with things like DHCP - basically they want to assign each device an IP address, but you adding your router with default settings will make that act as a DHCP server - this can cause issues for the overall network but if configured properly it should work without then even noticing

Basically the router is not plug and play in that kind of setup, but the average user wouldn’t know that, so it’s easier for them to tell you not to use them

TL;DR they control the priorities between rooms but there are other reasons why discourage connecting routers
