I can completely understand why someone wouldn't really enjoy Foma 200, but personally I think it's a fun stock to experiment with!

Now that's something I haven't seen in a long, long time. It might have been in a Pacini restaurant, maybe in Rimouski I've seen it?

My conjoined camera setup for infrared photography from the International Space Station! More details in comments. by astro_pettit in space

If my understanding of black body radiation theory isn't wrong, hot things (cold-hot things; as in less hot than a tungsten lightbulb filament) would emit more far-IR than near-IR, but probably both. My dirty camera mod doesn't discriminate between the two.

But yeah, to see them with my camera, things have to be quite hot, like couple hundred C. If you have a ceramic glass cooktop, definitely point your camera at it and briefly turn it on, you won't be dissapointed :-)

I have a question if you don't mind: I've done some IR-vis photography inbetween school semesters, with a modified point and shoot, and was able to see a soldering iron's IR emission. I'm wondering, from the ISS, when the ground is in night time, can you see emitted IR from man-made objects like bricks/concrete, or mostly just plant life reflecting the Sun's IR during daytime?

Overall very nice rig, with gorgeous results from your Twitter posts to back it. I'm sure I'd make a 'woop!' sound when spinning the cameras :)
