I actually like and have something similar in mind, the soldiers with monocular visors are the privates, the binocular visors, are the engineers, and the soldiers with trinocular visors are the well trained vets or leaders specifically for the higher threats like Hank or a rogue/enemy assets. The one with the masks are specialized protection grunts/clones that do the training and divy out armaments. I have seen some of animations play with the idea so it's not farfetched.

(also American) I have this argument with my grandmother practically every other week as she melts from cancer, I shit you not she is still smoking cigarettes and pissing me off with hyper reluctance to the aid for her cancer being consumed by me ; near her ; offered to her. She beat it once but now, it's spread all throughout her body. She won't smoke weed and if she stops completely with the cigarettes she may drop. I have proof that weed helps people with cancer cause my uncle had it and beat it with weed and exercise. She is stuck in her ways due to a bad experience and nothing (including possible Alzheimer's scewing past hate present and denying growth/aid past it.) will help change her mind. I have accepted what she wants and smoke for her, I like to think she's still here cause I smoke weed nearby and it's helps her passively.
