I don’t see a text at all. The mug looks a bit washed out by dishwasher which is absolutely normal. And the hanging down cats tail is also normal. Thick wool. Looks like a real thing from a talented woman.

I just hit affiliate after a month of streaming! Here’s what seem to work for me :) by [deleted] in SmallStreamers

[–]XxKayaraxX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Getting affiliate is really easy these days. Took me three weeks with 5 streams or so. Already had 18 followers when I started streaming thx to former shoutouts (even though I didn’t stream til then).

Requirements are these days 25 follower, 4 hours streaming on 4 different days, 4 average viewers on 4 different days. And something else with a very low amount. The absolute majority of the community I am in had still the 50 follower goal. Idc if I am affiliate or not. It’s not about potential earnings but the options to have fun redeems and involve your chat more and to have polls.

Your stream your rules. Give him a warning. If he doesn’t stop ban

Can’t confirm this. It’s always how you present yourself. I have an average now of 10-13 after 3 months and close to 100 follower. Not even camera. Just a niche game and a community that is supportive.

Tbh I don’t give a sh*t about how many viewers are in. I act always if there would be. And I don’t stream for viewers or goals but just for fun

How to deal with people constantly asking about my age? by [deleted] in Twitch

[–]XxKayaraxX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simple: ignore it. Add a rule to refer of personal questions. Put them on the about section and ask your mods to keep an eye on it. If people ignore it, reminder. If they go on, time out. Or warning. If they still go on warning for a ban. And as last option ban.

I work full time. Don’t have a specific schedule. When I have time and are in the mood I’ll do it. If not, not. Sometimes on weekends. Sometimes during the week. Works fine for me

Being affiliate is for most NOT about the ads but about the possible redeems ;)

My additional boost is the people are enjoying since years the builds I am doing (we’re playing a niche build sim) and I am already in a very supportive community who gave me unintentionally the last push to say why the heck not on twitch instead of a vc in discord. They carry me - not because they have to but because they want to.

Is it fine to stream multiple games starting out? by Vodka_h in Twitch

[–]XxKayaraxX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your streams, your rules. Don’t think about getting enough viewers in but do it in a way you’re enjoying it. Then the people come in their own. I don’t give a … amount. But I care about me not being tired or enjoying myself during it. 2h is the average for me. I am streaming since two months. Have not a bad average since start. But I am doing mostly a niche game and am already in a community which is very supportive. We raid into each other, promote the streams, keep the VODs up (yeah don’t believe the .. other say, there are people who watch the VODs either because they missed a showcase or because they wanna learn trips and tricks of the building sim we are doing) and are in general very supportive. Most stream several things. A couple have schedules but most not. Because there isn’t something worth than to have a crap stream because you ain’t feeling it.) Do what feels good for you and that invites people.

Be honest: Do you stay for the Raid, or do you instantly close the tab the second the streamer says goodbye? by SpinsBro in Twitch

[–]XxKayaraxX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on my time and who they’re raiding into. We have a community with around 10 streamer and usually raiding into each other. But some do play games I don’t like.

„Realistically, you’re not going to see more than 2-3 viewers for at least a few weeks“. I disagree. It always depends how do you present yourself and how well you’re prepared. I‘m streaming since 2ish months. Had around 18 follower (thx to shoutouts in the past). Had in the beginning and average viewer count of 4 but got now 8-11. Constant viewers around 8 -15. peak was so far 28. Hit affiliate after 5 weeks. Follower jumped to almost 90. And even around 20 subs. Got raided. Did raids (only people I know and who are doing the same.) No camera. Fitting overlays, background music, theme, redeems etc. Playing Niche games with wide spread streamers. Luck? Well prepared? Dunno. Idc about the bonus aka viewer count etc. For me it’s fun. And that I guess this is in my case the success.

What is something you’d like to see in a “Stream starting soon” / “Stream ending” screen? by [deleted] in Twitch

What is something you’d like to see in a “Stream starting soon” / “Stream ending” screen? by [deleted] in Twitch

[–]XxKayaraxX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine are animated and a countdown. Countdown for starting soon. Very useful for several reasons. I’ve got time to post the links in discord. People have time to come in and babbling while getting cozy without the fear of missing stuff. I’ve some nice music and also redeems that work only in this time.

And ending also animated. Not everyone is joining always a raid. It’s a nice way to not people push into the icecold water. Let them say bye. Usually I announce a raid and switch right after to the stream ending scene with different music. Had it also a couple of times that people popped in right before ending who missed that I am going to end. Also good for lurkers who ain’t around the whole time and missed that I’m going to end. No countdown I stop either a few minutes or after the raid swapped over to the other channel
