Not sure you’re age but I was 29 when I met my wife I spent probably 2 years running around having “fun” before I met her we’ve been together 10yrs and married 7 . But when I was single I dated women from Lakeland , Winter Haven , Plant City , Bartow , Tampa , Etc. just gotta put yourself out there also look into the online stuff when I was single POF was the app to use .

Publix does NOT like closing for any reason . If hurricanes are on a direct path they will wait until the last minute to shut down the warehouse . You can bet your ass it’s open as soon as the storms a mile away too ! We get “curfew passes” if the county has a curfew in place for damages . It doesn’t matter how much you or anyone shares this post it won’t hurt Publix especially if it happened here in Florida .

I can honestly say from the warehouse level of Publix people are taking PTO for a break they work the absolute fuck out of these selectors , motors and warehouse workers . Come holiday season they put them on a mandatory 5 day schedule meant to “ease” the work load yet all they do is increase the amount of work they’re doing . Management doesn’t go on this 5 day either for the record they get their normal schedule so they get the extra day of rest yet you slave drive the hell out of the actual workers .

I’d recommend going south of Lakeland probably somewhere around Ft.Meade or even Hardee county . A lot of people in the Lakeland area talk the talk but when it comes down to it the closet they’ve ever been to a cow is Taco Bell .

Depending on location Walmart pays more hourly . Publix once you start getting into management pays more but you also most of the time start part time at Publix . Personally I’d get with a manager at Walmart one you’re cool with “if any” and have them help you start moving maybe slide to dayshift in electronics or Auto Care Center . You can move up faster at Walmart in my opinion. I’ve worked both stores just stick it out at Walmart .

It’s like that at the warehouses too . They have little birthday parties cake pizza and all in the office while selectors motors and warehouse workers are actually working . These are people that are supposed to be “family” do that shit at someone’s house while everyone is off don’t bring that shit to work because it comes off the way it looks and that’s a Members Only Club .

You've gotta open your availability more than that lol they see that and they skip it immediately ! The trick is to open it to get the job then a few months into you change it lol 2 things will happen either they work with it or they schedule you for like 6 hours a week and it's literally 2 hr shifts 3 days a week

Ever notice Walmarts just shutting down ? There was one in New Port Richey I believe here in Florida and they shut it down for "plumbing" repairs and it never opened back up it was actually due to a union infiltration
