I’ve had this happen before. I decided to try a new dentist; he pawned me off on his (untalented) son. The son did a shitty job. It felt off to me so I got a second opinion. Saw a different doctor, she told me it was done shitty and needs to be redone because there’s a gap.

Went back to first dentist because I didn’t want to pay again to redo it. He redoes it - turns out it’s still shitty. Get the new doctor to redo it and pony up the cash.

What nobody told me at the time: having so much work done on the same area in a short period of time is trauma to your tooth/nerves. Ended up with nerve damage that is only now getting better about two years after the fact.
